门徒回答他说：“主啊，在哪里呢？”耶稣对他们说：“尸首在哪里，鹰也会聚在哪里。”

門徒問曰：『主事在何方？』對曰：『屍之所在、鷹之所集也。』

“ Where, Lord?” they asked. He replied,“ Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”

“ Where, Lord?” his disciples asked. He replied,“ The vultures will gather where there is a dead body.”

And they said to him,“ Where, Lord?” He said to them,“ Where the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.”

“ Where will this happen, Lord?” the disciples asked. Jesus replied,“ Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near.”

“ Where, Lord?” they asked him. He said to them,“ Where the corpse is, there also the vultures will be gathered.”

And responding, they* said to Him,“ Where, Lord?” And He said to them,“ Where the body is, there also the vultures will be gathered.”

And they answered and said to Him,“ Where, Lord?” So He said to them,“ Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”

And they answering say unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body is, thither will the eagles also be gathered together.

“ Where, Lord?” they asked Him. He said to them,“ Where the corpse is, there also the vultures will be gathered.”

And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body[ is], thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Then the disciples said to him,“ Where, Lord?” He replied to them,“ Where the dead body is, there the vultures will gather.”

They, answering, asked him,“ Where, Lord?” He said to them,“ Where the body is, there the vultures will also be gathered together.”

Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. (niv)

And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair,“ Come, gather together for the great supper of God,so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.” (niv)

I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. (niv)

In the whole land,” declares the Lord,“ two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it.This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. From there it looks for food; its eyes detect it from afar.Its young ones feast on blood, and where the slain are, there it is.” (niv)

I saw the Lord standing by the altar, and he said:“ Strike the tops of the pillars so that the thresholds shake. Bring them down on the heads of all the people; those who are left I will kill with the sword. Not one will get away, none will escape.Though they dig down to the depths below, from there my hand will take them. Though they climb up to the heavens above, from there I will bring them down.Though they hide themselves on the top of Carmel, there I will hunt them down and seize them. Though they hide from my eyes at the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent to bite them.Though they are driven into exile by their enemies, there I will command the sword to slay them.“ I will keep my eye on them for harm and not for good.” (niv)

After the sixty- two‘ sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.He will confirm a covenant with many for one‘ seven.’ In the middle of the‘ seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” (niv)

in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last. (niv)
