“另一个奴仆上前说，‘主啊，这是你先前给我的一千个银币，我一直把它包在手帕里。

另一个来说：‘主啊，你看，你的一百银币，我一直保存在手巾里，

“另一个上前来说：‘主啊，请看，你的那一百银币，我一直保存在手巾里。

又有一個來說：『主啊，看哪，你的一錠銀子在這裏，我把它包在手巾裏存着。

又有一個來說：『主啊！看哪，你的一錠銀子在這裏，我把它包在手巾裏存着。

又有一個來說：『主啊！看哪，你的一錠銀子在這裏，我把它包在手巾裏存着。

「另一個奴僕上前說，『主啊，這是你先前給我的一千個銀幣，我一直把它包在手帕裡。

另一個來說：‘主啊，你看，你的一百銀幣，我一直保存在手巾裡，

那另一個來說：「主啊你看，我所領的你那「百日工錢」幣，在手巾裏保存着呢。

「另一個上前來說：『主啊，請看，你的那一百銀幣，我一直保存在手巾裡。

又其次至、曰、主之一斤在此、我藏之於巾、

又其次至曰、主之十金在此、藏之巾中、

又其次至曰、主人一彌拿在此、我以巾包而藏之、

又次至曰：「主之金、依然在此、予受之即藏諸帕中。

“ Then another servant came and said,‘ Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth.

“ Then another slave came. He said,‘ Sir, here is your money. I have kept it hidden in a piece of cloth.

Then another came, saying,‘ Lord, here is your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief;

“ But the third servant brought back only the original amount of money and said,‘ Master, I hid your money and kept it safe.

“ And another came and said,‘ Master, here is your mina. I have kept it safe in a cloth

And then another came, saying,‘ Master, here is your mina, which I kept tucked away in a handkerchief;

“ Then another came, saying,‘ Master, here is your mina, which I have kept put away in a handkerchief.

And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I kept laid up in a napkin:

“ And another came and said,‘ Master, here is your mina. I have kept it hidden away in a cloth

And another came, saying, Lord, behold,[ here is] thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:

Then another slave came and said,‘ Sir, here is your mina that I put away for safekeeping in a piece of cloth.

Another came, saying,‘ Lord, behold, your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief,

“ Why do you call me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? (niv)

So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas.‘ Put this money to work,’ he said,‘ until I come back.’ (niv)

The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.” (niv)

“ Then the man who had received one bag of gold came.‘ Master,’ he said,‘ I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. (niv)

A sluggard says,“ There’s a lion in the road, a fierce lion roaming the streets!”As a door turns on its hinges, so a sluggard turns on his bed.A sluggard buries his hand in the dish; he is too lazy to bring it back to his mouth.A sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven people who answer discreetly. If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. (niv)
