But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

Simon Peter answered and said,“ You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ— He is Lord of all—

And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.

“ Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.“ Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.“ And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined.

Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,

Others said,“ This is the Christ.” But some said,“ Will the Christ come out of Galilee?

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,

Philip found Nathanael and said to him,“ We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote— Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”

Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Now some of them from Jerusalem said,“ Is this not He whom they seek to kill?But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ?However, we know where this Man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from.”

not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,

who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ

And He said to them,“ How can they say that the Christ is the Son of David?Now David himself said in the Book of Psalms:‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at My right hand,Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’Therefore David calls Him‘ Lord’; how is He then his Son?”
