心中有智慧的，必称为聪明人；嘴唇的甜言，增长人的学问。

来到自己的家乡，在会堂里教导人，以致他们都很惊奇，说：“这人哪来这样的智慧和异能呢？这不是那木匠的儿子吗？他母亲不是叫马利亚吗？他兄弟们不是叫雅各、约瑟、西门、犹大吗？他姊妹们不是都在我们这里吗？他这一切是从哪里来的呢？”

你比世人更美，你嘴里满有恩惠；所以神赐福给你，直到永远。

主耶和华赐我受教者的舌头，使我知道怎样用言语扶助疲乏的人。主每天早晨唤醒，唤醒我的耳朵，使我能听，像受教者一样。

到了安息日，他在会堂里教导人。众人听见，就很惊奇，说：“这人哪来这本事呢？所赐给他的是什么智慧？他手所做的是何等的异能呢？这不是那木匠吗？不是马利亚的儿子雅各、约西、犹大、西门的长兄吗？他姊妹们不也是在我们这里吗？”他们就厌弃他。

言语健全，无可指责，使那反对的人，因说不出我们有什么不好而自觉羞愧。

传道者专心寻求可喜悦的言语，是凭正直写的诚实话。智慧人的话语如同刺棒；这些嘉言好像钉稳的钉子，都是一个牧者所赐的。

司提反是以智慧和圣灵说话，众人抵挡不住，

警卫回答：“从来没有像他这样说话的！”

一句话说得合宜，就如金苹果在银网子里。

他的口甘甜，他全然可爱。耶路撒冷的女子啊，这是我的良人，这是我的朋友。

凡听见他的人都对他的聪明和应对感到惊奇。

因为我必赐你们口才和智慧，是你们一切敌人所敌不住、驳不倒的。

义人的嘴唇懂得令人喜悦；恶人的口只知乖谬。

为真理、谦卑、公义威严地驾车前进，无不得胜；愿你的右手显明可畏的事。
