眾皆愕然相顧曰：『斯何道歟？言具威權、諭魔即出。』

All the people were amazed and said to each other,“ What words these are! With authority and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!”

And they were all amazed and said to one another,“ What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

Amazed, the people exclaimed,“ What authority and power this man’s words possess! Even evil spirits obey him, and they flee at his command!”

Amazement came over them all, and they were saying to one another,“ What is this message? For he commands the unclean spirits with authority and power, and they come out!”

And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another, saying,“ What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

耶稣把鬼赶走之后，哑巴就说话了。众人都很惊奇，说：“这样的事，在以色列从来没有见过。”

有人带了一个被鬼附着、又瞎又哑的人到耶稣那里。耶稣医好了他，那哑巴就能说话，也能看见了。群众都很惊奇，说：“难道他就是大卫的子孙？”

信的人必有神迹随着他们，就是奉我的名赶鬼，用新方言说话，用手握蛇，喝了什么毒物也不受害，手按病人就必好了。”主耶稣向门徒讲完了话，就被接到天上，坐在神的右边。门徒出去，到处传扬福音，主和他们同工，藉着相随的神迹，证实所传的道。（有少数抄本有〔较短的结语〕：9“那些妇女把耶稣所吩咐的一切都告诉彼得和他的同伴。10这些事以后，耶稣藉着他们亲自把那神圣不朽、永远救恩的信息从东到西传扬出去。阿们。”放在第8节之后；另有少数抄本把它放在第20节之后。）

那七十二个人欢欢喜喜地回来，说：“主啊，因你的名，连鬼也服了我们。”耶稣说：“我看见撒但，像闪电一样从天坠落。我已经给你们权柄，去践踏蛇和蝎子，胜过仇敌的一切能力。绝对没有什么能伤害你们了。然而不要因为鬼服了你们就欢喜，却要因为你们的名字记录在天上而欢喜。”

众人非常惊讶说：“他所作的一切事都好极了；他竟然使聋子听见，又使哑巴说话。”

甚至有人把保罗贴身的手巾围巾拿去，放在病人身上，病就好了，邪灵也出来了。那时，有几个赶鬼的犹太人，周游各处，擅自用主耶稣的名，向身上有邪灵的人说：“我奉保罗所传的耶稣的名，命令你们出来。”有一个犹太人士基瓦，是祭司长，他的七个儿子都作这事。邪灵回答他们：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道；你们是谁？”邪灵所附的那人就扑到他们身上，制伏了两人，胜过了他们，使他们赤着身带着伤，从那房子逃了出来。

基督已进到天上，在神右边，众天使、有权势的、有能力的，都服从了他。
