One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God.

耶穌沿着加利利海邊行走，看見兩兄弟，就是那叫彼得的西門和他弟弟安得烈，正往海裏撒網；他們本是打魚的。耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」他們立刻捨了網，跟從他。耶穌從那裏往前走，看見另外兩兄弟，就是西庇太的兒子雅各和他弟弟約翰，同他們的父親西庇太在船上補網，耶穌就呼召他們。他們立刻捨了船，辭別父親，跟從了耶穌。

耶穌沿着加利利的海邊走，看見西門和西門的弟弟安得烈在海上撒網；他們本是打魚的。耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」他們立刻捨了網，跟從他。耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和他弟弟約翰在船上補網。耶穌隨即呼召他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工留在船上，跟從了耶穌。

他們渡過了海，在革尼撒勒上岸。

以及從東邊的亞拉巴，直到基尼烈海，又向東通過伯‧耶施末的路，直到亞拉巴的海，就是鹽海，再往南直到毗斯迦山斜坡的山腳。

這地界要從示番下到亞延東邊的利比拉，這地界要下延到基尼烈海的東邊，

耶穌就和他同去。有一大羣人跟隨他，擁擠着他。

還有亞拉巴和靠近約旦河之地，從基尼烈直到亞拉巴海，就是鹽海，以及毗斯迦山斜坡的山腳東邊之地。

從施洗約翰的日子到今天，天國受到強烈的攻擊，強者奪取它。

這時，有幾萬人聚集，甚至彼此踐踏。耶穌就先對門徒說：「你們要防備法利賽人的酵，就是假冒為善。

他們渡過了海，在革尼撒勒靠岸，泊了船，

因為人多，他吩咐門徒為他預備一隻小船，免得眾人擁擠他。

耶穌說：「摸我的是誰？」眾人都不承認。彼得說：「老師，眾人擁擁擠擠緊靠着你。」
