要你們記得聖先知預先所說的話和主－救主的命令，就是使徒所傳給你們的。

所以，神的智慧也曾說：『我要差遣先知和使徒到他們那裏去，有的他們要殘殺，有的他們要迫害』，

同蒙天召的聖潔弟兄啊，要思想我們所宣認為使者、為大祭司的耶穌；

耶穌叫齊了十二使徒，給他們能力和權柄制伏一切的鬼，醫治疾病，又差遣他們宣講神的國，醫治病人，

天上出現了一個大兆頭：有一個婦人身披太陽，腳踏月亮，頭戴十二顆星的冠冕；

天哪，眾聖徒、眾使徒、眾先知啊！你們都要因她歡喜，因為神已經在她身上為你們伸了冤。」

他所賜的有使徒，有先知，有傳福音的，有牧者和教師，
