但是，當我們還是罪人的時候，基督就替我們死了。神的愛就在此向我們顯明了。所以，我們現在既然藉著基督的血被稱為義，難道不更要藉著他，從神的震怒中被拯救出來嗎？這樣，我們做神敵人的時候，尚且能藉著神兒子的死與神和好，何況和好以後，難道不更要藉著神兒子的生命得救嗎？

耶和華善待萬有，他的憐憫臨到他所造的一切。

人恩待貧弱者，就是借予耶和華；耶和華將照著他所行的償還給他。

心眼良善的必蒙祝福，因為他把自己的糧食分給貧弱者。

因為你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩典：他雖然富足，卻為你們成了貧窮，好使你們藉著他的貧窮可以成為富足。

恩待人、借予人的，是有福之人，他秉公辦事；

你們結出很多果子，就表明是我的門徒了；從這一點我父也就得榮耀。

他終日恩待人、借予人，連他的後裔也成為人的祝福。

其實神並不是沒有為自己留下證據，因為他常行美善：從天上賜給你們雨水和豐收的季節，使你們食物充足，滿心喜樂。」

他將要為大，被稱為至高者的兒子；主、神要把他先祖大衛的王位賜給他。

大聲喊叫說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，我與你有什麼關係？我藉著神懇求你，不要折磨我！」

「然而我告訴你們這些正在聽的人：要愛你們的敵人，善待那些恨你們的人；要祝福那些詛咒你們的人，為那些詆毀你們的人禱告。有人打你這邊的臉，把另一邊也讓他打；有人拿走你的外衣，連裡衣也不要阻止他拿；任何人求你，都要給他；有人拿走你的東西，不要討回來。你們希望別人怎樣對待你們，你們也應當怎樣對待別人。
