耶穌又對他們講了一個比喻：「難道瞎子能給瞎子領路嗎？兩個人不都會掉進坑裡嗎？

又取譬曰、瞽何能相瞽、不相與陷於溝壑乎、

又設喻語眾曰、瞽者能引瞽者乎、二人不皆陷於坑乎、

耶穌復諷諭之曰：『瞽而導瞽、有不相將入坑者乎？

He also told them this parable:“ Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit?

Jesus also gave them another example. He asked,“ Can a blind person lead another blind person? Won’t they both fall into a pit?

He also told them a parable:“ Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?

Then Jesus gave the following illustration:“ Can one blind person lead another? Won’t they both fall into a ditch?

He also told them a parable:“ Can the blind guide the blind? Won’t they both fall into a pit?

Now He also spoke a parable to them:“ A person who is blind cannot guide another who is blind, can he? Will they not both fall into a pit?

And He spoke a parable to them:“ Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into the ditch?

And he spake also a parable unto them, Can the blind guide the blind? shall they not both fall into a pit?

He also told them a parable:“ Can the blind guide the blind? Won’t they both fall into a pit?

隨他們吧！他們是給瞎子領路的瞎子。如果瞎子給瞎子領路，兩個人都會掉進坑裡。」

而惡人和迷惑人的會越來越壞，他們迷惑人，自己也被迷惑。

如果有人傳講別的教義，不符合我們主耶穌基督的健全話語以及那合乎敬神的教導，那麼他就成了自以為是的人，什麼都不知道，只對辯論和言詞上的爭執有病態的嗜好，由此引發嫉妒、紛爭、毀謗、惡意的猜疑；他在那些理性敗壞、喪失真理、以為敬神是得利之道的人中，引發無休止的爭吵。

因為引導這百姓的使他們迷失，而被引導的都陷入混亂。

「你們這些瞎眼的領路人有禍了！你們說：『如果有人指著聖所起誓，算不得什麼；但如果有人指著聖所裡的金子起誓，就必須遵守。』你們這些又愚拙又瞎眼的人哪，到底哪一樣更重要呢？是金子，還是使金子成聖的聖所呢？你們還說：『如果有人指著祭壇起誓，算不得什麼；但如果有人指著祭壇上的祭物起誓，就必須遵守。』你們這些瞎眼的人哪，到底哪一樣更重要呢？是祭物，還是使祭物成聖的祭壇呢？所以，指著祭壇起誓的，就是指著祭壇和祭壇上的一切起誓；指著聖所起誓的，就是指著聖所和住在裡面的那一位起誓；指著天起誓的，就是指著神的寶座和坐在寶座上的那一位起誓。「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們奉獻薄荷、蒔蘿、香芹的十分之一，卻放棄了律法上更重要的：就是公義、憐憫、信實。這些才是你們應該做的，至於前者也不可放棄。你們這些瞎眼的領路人哪，你們濾掉蠓蟲，卻吞下駱駝！「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們洗淨杯子、盤子的外面，裡面卻盛滿了貪心和放縱。你這瞎眼的法利賽人哪！當先洗淨杯子的裡面，好使外面也潔淨。

「你們這些蛇類，這些毒蛇的子孫！你們怎麼能逃避地獄的懲罰呢？

耶和華又對我說：「你再拿愚蠢牧人的器具。看哪，我必使一個牧人在這地興起！那將被除滅的，他不眷顧；那分散的，他不尋找；那受傷的，他不治癒；那精疲力竭的，他不扶養；他卻要吞吃肥羊的肉，撕裂牠們的蹄。「禍哉！那撇棄羊群的無用牧人！刀劍必落在他的膀臂和右眼上；他的膀臂將完全枯萎，他的右眼將徹底失明。」

以色列的守望者都是瞎眼的，全都無知；他們都是啞巴狗，不會叫；只會做夢、躺臥、愛打盹。

又深信自己是瞎子的領路人，是在黑暗中人的光，
