耶穌又進了會堂，在那裏有一個人，他的一隻手萎縮了。眾人為了要控告耶穌，就窺探他會不會在安息日醫治那人。耶穌對那手萎縮了的人說：「起來站在當中！」他又問眾人：「在安息日行善行惡，救命害命，哪樣是合法的呢？」他們都不作聲。耶穌怒目環視他們，因他們的心剛硬而憂傷，就對那人說：「伸出手來！」他把手一伸，手就復原了。法利賽人出去，立刻同希律一黨的人商議怎樣除掉耶穌。

耶穌離開那地方，進了猶太人的會堂；那裏有個一隻手萎縮了的人。有人為了要控告耶穌，就問他：「安息日治病合不合法？」耶穌對他們說：「你們中間誰有一隻羊在安息日掉在坑裏，不抓住牠，把牠拉上來呢？人比羊貴重得多了！所以，在安息日做善事是合法的。」於是對那人說：「伸出手來！」他把手一伸，手就復原了，和另一隻一樣。法利賽人出去，商議怎樣除掉耶穌。

耶穌下到迦百農，就是加利利的一座城，在安息日教導眾人。

耶穌來到拿撒勒，就是他長大的地方。在安息日，照他素常的規矩進了會堂，站起來要念聖經。

裏面躺着許多病人，有失明的、瘸腿的、癱瘓的。

耶穌走遍加利利，在各會堂裏教導人，宣講天國的福音，醫治百姓各樣的疾病。

安息日，耶穌在一個會堂裏教導人。

於是法利賽人中有的說：「這個人不是從神來的，因為他不守安息日。」另有的說：「一個罪人怎能行這樣的神蹟呢？」他們之間就產生了分裂。

耶穌回答律法師和法利賽人，說：「安息日治病合不合法？」

於是用雙手按着她，她立刻直起腰來，就歸榮耀給神。會堂的主管因為耶穌在安息日治病，就很生氣，對眾人說：「有六天應當做工，那六天之內可以來求醫，在安息日卻不可。」

有一個安息日，耶穌從麥田經過。他的門徒摘了麥穗，用手搓着吃。

耶羅波安王聽見神人向伯特利的壇呼叫的話，就從壇上伸手，說：「拿住他！」王向神人所伸的手卻萎縮了，不能彎回。

禍哉！無用的牧人丟棄羊羣，刀必臨到他的膀臂和右眼上；他的膀臂必全然枯乾，他的右眼也必昏暗失明。」
