他说：“神国的奥秘已经赐下来让你们知道，但是对其他的人就用比喻。这是为要使‘他们看，却看不见；听，却不领悟。’

耶穌說：『上帝國的奧祕是給你們知道的；對於其他的人呢、就用比喻，使他們看是看，卻看不見；聽是聽，卻不曉悟！

他說：「神國的奧祕已經賜下來讓你們知道，但是對其他的人就用比喻。這是為要使『他們看，卻看不見；聽，卻不領悟。』

曰上帝國之奧、賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、俾其視而不明、聽而不悟、

曰、上帝國之奧、與爾知之、惟於他人、則設譬、故彼視而不明、聽而不悟、

答曰、天主國之奧、乃賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、使其視亦不見、聽亦不悟、

耶穌曰：『天主國之奧義、賜爾知之；為他人惟設譬而已。彼乃所謂視而不見、聞而不悟者也。

He said,“ The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that,“‘ though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’

He said,“ You have been given the chance to understand the secrets of God’s kingdom. But to outsiders I speak by using stories. In that way,“‘ They see, but they will not know what they are seeing. They hear, but they will not understand what they are hearing.’( Isaiah 6:9)

he said,“ To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables to teach the others so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:‘ When they look, they won’t really see. When they hear, they won’t understand.’

So he said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

And He said,“ To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest they are told in parables, so that while seeing they may not see, and while hearing they may not understand.

And He said,“ To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that‘ Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.’

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

So He said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

He said,“ You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that although they see they may not see, and although they hear they may not understand.

He said,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of God’s Kingdom, but to the rest in parables; that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

他說：「你去告訴這百姓說：『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻不曉得。』

耶穌對他們說：「神國的奧祕只讓你們知道，若是對外人講，凡事就用比喻，

那時，耶穌說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你把這些事向聰明智慧的人隱藏起來，而向嬰孩啟示出來。

他們既無知，又不思想；因為耶和華蒙蔽他們的眼，使他們看不見，塞住他們的心，使他們不明白。

耶穌回答他們說：「因為天國的奧祕只讓你們知道，不讓他們知道。凡有的，還要給他，讓他有餘；凡沒有的，連他所有的也要奪去。我之所以用比喻對他們講，是因為他們看卻看不清，聽卻聽不見，也不明白。在他們身上，正應驗了以賽亞的預言：『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白，看了又看，卻看不清。因為這百姓的心麻木，耳朵發沉，眼睛閉着，免得眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裏明白，回轉過來，我會醫治他們。』但你們的眼睛是有福的，因為看得見；你們的耳朵也是有福的，因為聽得見。我實在告訴你們，從前有許多先知和義人要看你們所看的，卻沒有看見；要聽你們所聽的，卻沒有聽見。」

「愚昧無知的百姓啊，你們有眼不看，有耳不聽，現在當聽這話。

為要使他們的心得安慰，因愛心互相聯絡，以致有從確實了解所產生的豐盛，好深知神的奧祕，就是基督；

惟有神能照我所傳的福音和所講的耶穌基督，並照歷代以來隱藏的奧祕的啟示，堅固你們。

這道就是歷世歷代所隱藏的奧祕，但如今向他的聖徒顯明了。神要讓他們知道，這奧祕在外邦人中有何等豐盛的榮耀；就是基督在你們心裏成了得榮耀的盼望。我們傳揚他，是用諸般的智慧，勸戒各人，教導各人，要把各人在基督裏完完全全地獻上。

他說：『你去對這百姓說：你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻看不清。因為這百姓的心麻木，耳朵塞着，眼睛閉着，免得眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裏明白，回轉過來，我會醫治他們。』

那又怎麼說呢？以色列人所尋求的，他們沒有得着。但是蒙揀選的人得着了，其餘的人卻成了頑梗不化的。如經上所記：「神給他們昏沉的靈，眼睛看不見，耳朵聽不到，直到今日。」大衛也說：「願他們的宴席變為羅網，變為陷阱，變為絆腳石，作他們的報應。願他們的眼睛昏花，看不見；願你時常彎下他們的腰。」

耶穌回答他說：「約拿的兒子西門，你是有福的！因為這不是屬血肉的啟示你的，而是我在天上的父啟示的。

耶和華與敬畏他的人親密，他要將自己的約指示他們。

但耶和華到今日還沒有使你們心能明白，眼能看見，耳能聽見。

這一切都是由惟一的、同一位聖靈所運行，隨着自己的旨意分給各人的。

所以，看哪，我要在這百姓中行奇妙的事，就是奇妙又奇妙的事。他們智慧人的智慧必然消滅，聰明人的聰明必然消失。」

論到這救恩，那預先說你們要得恩典的眾先知已經詳細地搜索查考過，查考在他們心裏的基督的靈預先證明基督受苦難，後來得榮耀，是指甚麼時候，甚麼樣的情況。他們得了啟示，知道他們所服事的不是自己，而是你們。那藉着從天上差來的聖靈傳福音給你們的人，現在將這些事傳給你們；這些事連天使也都切望察看呢！

我們講的是從前隱藏的、神奧祕的智慧，就是神在萬世以前預定使我們得榮耀的智慧；這智慧，今世有權有位的人沒有一個知道，若知道，他們就不會把榮耀的主釘在十字架上了。如經上所記：「神為愛他的人所預備的是眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聽見，人心也未曾想到的。」只有神藉着聖靈把這事向我們顯明了；因為聖靈參透萬事，就是神深奧的事也參透了。除了在人裏頭的靈，誰知道人的事？照樣，除了神的靈，也沒有人知道神的事。

「主使他們瞎了眼，使他們硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，他們心裏明白，回轉過來，我會醫治他們。」

敬虔的奧祕是公認為偉大的：神在肉身顯現，被聖靈稱義，被天使看見，被傳於外邦，被世人信服，被接在榮耀裏。

正當那時，耶穌被聖靈感動而歡喜快樂，說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你把這些事向聰明智慧的人隱藏起來，而向嬰孩啟示出來。父啊，是的，因為你的美意本是如此。一切都是我父交給我的。除了父，沒有人知道子是誰；除了子和子所願意啟示的人，沒有人知道父是誰。」耶穌轉身私下對門徒說：「看見你們所看見的，那眼睛有福了。我告訴你們，從前有許多先知和君王要看你們所看的，卻沒有看見，要聽你們所聽的，卻沒有聽見。」

用啟示讓我知道福音的奧祕，正如我以前略略寫過的。你們讀了，就會知道我深深了解基督的奧祕；這奧祕在以前的世代沒有讓人知道，像如今藉着聖靈向他的聖使徒和先知啟示一樣，就是外邦人在基督耶穌裏，藉着福音，得以同為後嗣，同為一體，同為蒙應許的人。我作了這福音的僕役，是照着神的恩賜，是照他運行的大能賜給我的。雖然我比眾聖徒中最小的還小，他還賜我這恩典，讓我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外邦人，又使眾人都明白甚麼是歷代以來隱藏在創造萬物之神裏的奧祕，
