“ But you are profaning it when you say,‘ The Lord’s table is defiled, and its product, its food, is contemptible.’

可是，你们却亵渎我的名，竟然说我的桌子是污秽的，上面的祭物是可藐视的。

万军之耶和华说：“你们却亵渎了我，因你们以为主的桌子是污秽的，桌上的食物也是可藐视的。

万军之耶和华说：“你们亵渎我的名，是因你们说：‘主的桌子是可以被玷污的，其上的果实和食物是可以被藐视的！’

你們卻褻瀆我的名，說：『耶和華的桌子是污穢的，其上的食物是可藐視的。』

你們卻褻瀆我的名，說：『主的供桌是不潔淨的，供桌上的果子和食物是可藐視的。』

你們卻褻瀆我的名，說：『主的供桌是不潔淨的，供桌上的果子和食物是可藐視的。』

可是，你們卻褻瀆我的名，竟然說我的桌子是污穢的，上面的祭物是可藐視的。

萬軍之耶和華說：“你們卻褻瀆了我，因你們以為主的桌子是污穢的，桌上的食物也是可藐視的。

而你們呢、卻褻瀆我的名——這就等於你們心裏說：主的桌子是污穢的，而其食物是可藐視的了！

萬軍之耶和華說：「你們褻瀆我的名，是因你們說：『主的桌子是可以被玷汙的，其上的果實和食物是可以被藐視的！』

惟爾侮之、曰、耶和華之幾不潔、其上之食品、可藐視也、

惟爾屢言耶和華之几、已玷厥污、其饌菲薄、則瀆我名、

惟爾褻瀆我名、因爾曹言主之案不潔、其上祭物可藐視、

“ But you profane it by saying,‘ The Lord’s table is defiled,’ and,‘ Its food is contemptible.’

“ But you treat my name as if it were not holy. You say the Lord’ s altar is‘ unclean.’ And you look down on its food.

But you profane it when you say that the Lord’s table is polluted, and its fruit, that is, its food may be despised.

“ But you dishonor my name with your actions. By bringing contemptible food, you are saying it’s all right to defile the Lord’s table.

“ But you are profaning it by your saying,‘ The table of the Lord is defiled, and as for its fruit, its food is to be despised.’

“ But you profane it, In that you say,‘ The table of the Lord is defiled; And its fruit, its food, is contemptible.’

But ye profane it, in that ye say, The table of Jehovah is polluted, and the fruit thereof, even its food, is contemptible.

But you are profaning it when you say:“ The Lord’s table is defiled, and its product, its food, is contemptible.”

But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD[ is] polluted; and the fruit thereof,[ even] his meat,[ is] contemptible.

“ But you are profaning it by saying that the table of the Lord is common and its offerings despicable.

“ But you profane it, in that you say,‘ Yahweh’s table is polluted, and its fruit, even its food, is contemptible.’

They trample the heads of the poor on the dust of the ground and obstruct the path of the needy. A man and his father have sexual relations with the same girl, profaning my holy name.

So they brought in the gold vessels that had been taken from the temple, the house of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, wives, and concubines drank from them.They drank the wine and praised their gods made of gold and silver, bronze, iron, wood, and stone.

For, as it is written: The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.

Then I had concern for my holy name, which the house of Israel profaned among the nations where they went.“ Therefore, say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: It is not for your sake that I will act, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you profaned among the nations where you went.I will honor the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations— the name you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the LORD— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— when I demonstrate my holiness through you in their sight.

You also say,‘ Look, what a nuisance!’ And you scorn it,” says the LORD of Armies.“ You bring stolen, lame, or sick animals. You bring this as an offering! Am I to accept that from your hands?” asks the LORD.

The riffraff among them had a strong craving for other food. The Israelites wept again and said,“ Who will feed us meat?We remember the free fish we ate in Egypt, along with the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlic.But now our appetite is gone; there’s nothing to look at but this manna!”The manna resembled coriander seed, and its appearance was like that of bdellium.The people walked around and gathered it. They ground it on a pair of grinding stones or crushed it in a mortar, then boiled it in a cooking pot and shaped it into cakes. It tasted like a pastry cooked with the finest oil.

“ You, on the other hand, have turned from the way. You have caused many to stumble by your instruction. You have violated the covenant of Levi,” says the LORD of Armies.

“ A son honors his father, and a servant his master. But if I am a father, where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is your fear of me? says the LORD of Armies to you priests, who despise my name.” Yet you ask,“ How have we despised your name?”“ By presenting defiled food on my altar.”“ How have we defiled you?” you ask. When you say,“ The LORD’s table is contemptible.”“ When you present a blind animal for sacrifice, is it not wrong? And when you present a lame or sick animal, is it not wrong? Bring it to your governor! Would he be pleased with you or show you favor?” asks the LORD of Armies.

However, because you treated the LORD with such contempt in this matter, the son born to you will die.”
