“ But you profane it, In that you say,‘ The table of the Lord is defiled; And its fruit, its food, is contemptible.’

你们却亵渎我的名，说：‘耶和华的桌子是污秽的，其上的食物是可藐视的。’

你们却亵渎我的名，说：‘主的供桌是不洁净的，供桌上的果子和食物是可藐视的。’

你们却亵渎我的名，说：‘主的供桌是不洁净的，供桌上的果子和食物是可藐视的。’

可是，你们却亵渎我的名，竟然说我的桌子是污秽的，上面的祭物是可藐视的。

万军之耶和华说：“你们却亵渎了我，因你们以为主的桌子是污秽的，桌上的食物也是可藐视的。

万军之耶和华说：“你们亵渎我的名，是因你们说：‘主的桌子是可以被玷污的，其上的果实和食物是可以被藐视的！’

你們卻褻瀆我的名，說：『耶和華的桌子是污穢的，其上的食物是可藐視的。』

你們卻褻瀆我的名，說：『主的供桌是不潔淨的，供桌上的果子和食物是可藐視的。』

你們卻褻瀆我的名，說：『主的供桌是不潔淨的，供桌上的果子和食物是可藐視的。』

可是，你們卻褻瀆我的名，竟然說我的桌子是污穢的，上面的祭物是可藐視的。

萬軍之耶和華說：“你們卻褻瀆了我，因你們以為主的桌子是污穢的，桌上的食物也是可藐視的。

而你們呢、卻褻瀆我的名——這就等於你們心裏說：主的桌子是污穢的，而其食物是可藐視的了！

萬軍之耶和華說：「你們褻瀆我的名，是因你們說：『主的桌子是可以被玷汙的，其上的果實和食物是可以被藐視的！』

惟爾侮之、曰、耶和華之幾不潔、其上之食品、可藐視也、

惟爾屢言耶和華之几、已玷厥污、其饌菲薄、則瀆我名、

惟爾褻瀆我名、因爾曹言主之案不潔、其上祭物可藐視、

“ But you profane it by saying,‘ The Lord’s table is defiled,’ and,‘ Its food is contemptible.’

“ But you treat my name as if it were not holy. You say the Lord’ s altar is‘ unclean.’ And you look down on its food.

But you profane it when you say that the Lord’s table is polluted, and its fruit, that is, its food may be despised.

“ But you dishonor my name with your actions. By bringing contemptible food, you are saying it’s all right to defile the Lord’s table.

“ But you are profaning it when you say,‘ The Lord’s table is defiled, and its product, its food, is contemptible.’

“ But you are profaning it by your saying,‘ The table of the Lord is defiled, and as for its fruit, its food is to be despised.’

But ye profane it, in that ye say, The table of Jehovah is polluted, and the fruit thereof, even its food, is contemptible.

But you are profaning it when you say:“ The Lord’s table is defiled, and its product, its food, is contemptible.”

But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD[ is] polluted; and the fruit thereof,[ even] his meat,[ is] contemptible.

“ But you are profaning it by saying that the table of the Lord is common and its offerings despicable.

“ But you profane it, in that you say,‘ Yahweh’s table is polluted, and its fruit, even its food, is contemptible.’

They pant after the dust of the earth which is on the head of the poor, And pervert the way of the humble. A man and his father go in to the same girl, To defile My holy name.

Then they brought the gold vessels that had been taken from the temple of the house of God which had been in Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines drank from them.They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold and silver, bronze and iron, wood and stone.

For“ the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” as it is written.

But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations wherever they went.“ Therefore say to the house of Israel,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord GOD,“ when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.

You also say,‘ Oh, what a weariness!’ And you sneer at it,” Says the Lord of hosts.“ And you bring the stolen, the lame, and the sick; Thus you bring an offering! Should I accept this from your hand?” Says the Lord.

Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said:“ Who will give us meat to eat?We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic;but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!”Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its color like the color of bdellium.The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, cooked it in pans, and made cakes of it; and its taste was like the taste of pastry prepared with oil.

But you have departed from the way; You have caused many to stumble at the law. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi,” Says the Lord of hosts.

“ A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the Lord of hosts To you priests who despise My name. Yet you say,‘ In what way have we despised Your name?’“ You offer defiled food on My altar, But say,‘ In what way have we defiled You?’ By saying,‘ The table of the Lord is contemptible.’And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, Is it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, Is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you favorably?” Says the Lord of hosts.

However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.”
