耶穌對他們說：「大衛和跟從他的人飢餓時所做的事，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶稣回答说：“你们没有读过大卫的事迹吗？当时他和部下饿了，

耶稣对他们说：“大卫和跟他在一起的人，在饥饿的时候所作的，你们没有念过吗？

耶稣对他们说：“大卫和那些与他在一起的人饥饿时所做的事，你们难道没有读过吗？

耶穌對他們說：「經上記着大衛和跟從他的人飢餓之時所做的事，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶穌回答說：「你們沒有讀過大衛的事蹟嗎？當時他和部下餓了，

耶穌對他們說：“大衛和跟他在一起的人，在飢餓的時候所作的，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶穌對他們說：『大衛和跟隨他的人餓着的時候所作的，你們沒有誦讀過麼？

耶穌對他們說：「大衛和那些與他在一起的人飢餓時所做的事，你們難道沒有讀過嗎？

耶穌曰、爾未讀大衛及從者飢時所為乎、

耶穌曰、爾不知大闢及從人饑時所行乎、

答曰、經載大衛及從者饑時所行之事、爾未讀之乎、

耶穌對曰：『爾豈未讀大維及從者飢時之所為乎？

He answered,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Jesus answered,“ Haven’t you read about what David did? He and his men were hungry.

He said to them,“ Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and those who were with him:

Jesus said to them,“ Haven’t you read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

He said to them,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and those who were with him were hungry:

But He said to them,“ Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions—

But He said to them,“ Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:

But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, and they that were with him;

He said to them,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and those who were with him were hungry—

He said to them,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry–

現在你手中有甚麼？請你給我五個餅或是可以找到的食物。」祭司對大衛說：「我手中沒有普通的餅，只有聖餅，只能給沒有親近婦人的年輕人。」大衛回答祭司說：「我們確實沒有親近婦人，如同往常我出征的時候一樣。平常行路，僕人的身體都還分別為聖，何況今日豈不更使自己分別為聖嗎？」祭司拿聖餅給他，因為在那裏沒有別的餅，只有那從耶和華面前撤下的供餅，就是換上熱餅的日子取下來的。

耶穌回答他們：「大衛和跟從他的人飢餓時所做的事，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶穌對他們說：「大衛和跟從他的人飢餓需要食物時所做的事，你們沒有念過嗎？他在亞比亞他作大祭司的時候，怎麼進了神的居所，吃了供餅，又給跟從他的人吃呢？這餅除了祭司以外，人都不可以吃。」

論到死人復活，你們沒有念過摩西書中《荊棘篇》上所記載的嗎？神對摩西說：『我是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。』

對他說：「這些人所喊的，你聽到了嗎？」耶穌對他們說：「聽到了。經上說：『你藉孩童和吃奶的口發出完全的讚美』，你們沒有念過嗎？」

『匠人所丟棄的石頭已作了房角的頭塊石頭。這是主所做的，在我們眼中看為奇妙。』這經文你們沒有念過嗎？」

再者，律法上所記的，在安息日，祭司在聖殿裏犯了安息日也不算有罪，你們沒有念過嗎？

論到死人復活，神向你們所說的話，你們沒有念過嗎？

耶穌對他說：「律法上寫的是甚麼？你是怎樣念的呢？」

耶穌回答：「那起初造人的，是造男造女，並且說：『因此，人要離開父母，與妻子結合，二人成為一體。』這經文你們沒有念過嗎？
