言後八日、耶穌率伯鐸祿、若望雅谷伯登山祈禱。禱時、厥容頓改、厥衣潔白、而生輝；倏有二人、與耶穌語、是為摩西、伊理藹、顯現於榮光之中、共論耶穌將在耶路撒冷致命遂志之事。是時、伯鐸祿及其伴、昏昏欲睡比醒、則見耶穌光采煥發、二人與之同立。方二人將別、伯鐸祿謂耶穌曰：『夫子、吾儕在茲樂甚；容設三幄、一為爾、一為摩西、一為伊理藹。』伯鐸祿實不審其所言也。言猶未已、有彩雲一朵、蔭覆諸徒。諸徒身入雲中、不勝駭怖；有音發自雲間、曰：『斯吾聖子、吾所欣悅、爾曹其聽從之！』當斯音之發、惟見耶穌獨留、是時、諸徒猶謹守緘默、未以所見語人也。

耶穌禁眾同行、惟攜伯鐸祿雅谷伯暨弟若望與偕。

乃攜伯鐸祿及慈伯德二子同行。時憂自中生、戚然興悲、

此音乃吾儕與彼同遊聖山時、親耳所聞、發自天上者也。

予之第三次就爾、即在目前。證以二三人之口、言言足徵。

閱六日、耶穌獨攜伯鐸祿雅谷伯若望、引登高山、當前顯容、其衣輝耀、皎如白雪、非世之漂工所得而致也。摩西伊理靄同現、與耶穌語。伯鐸祿乃謂耶穌曰：『夫子、吾人得盤桓於此、不亦樂乎！容設三幕、一為子、一為摩西、一為伊理靄。』蓋當時其徒皆倉皇失措、伯鐸祿亦不暇擇言矣。倏有朵雲覆之、雲間發音云、『此我愛子、爾其聽之。』三徒環視、不復見一人、惟耶穌與俱。下山時、耶穌戒其徒、於人子未復活前、勿以所見語人。徒謹守此語、惟互詰復活何意。嗣問耶穌曰：『經生謂伊理靄必需先臨何也？』答曰：『伊理靄固需先來振興萬事、然經不亦言人子應如何備嘗苦辱乎？然予語汝、伊理靄實已蒞至、而世人任意待之、適如經之所載也。』

耶穌既至其家、惟許伯鐸祿若望雅谷伯及女之父母、與之同入。
