但不论谁使这样一个小信徒失足犯罪，他的下场比把大磨石拴在他脖子上沉到深海里还要惨。

凡使這些信我的微小者之一個絆跌的，就使一塊驢牽的磨石掛在他的脖子上，沉在海洋裏，對於他還有益。

「但無論誰使信我的這些卑微人中的一個絆倒，對那人來說，倒不如脖子上被拴上大磨石，沉到深海裡。

陷信我小子之一者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、沉於深海、

若陷信我之小子於罪者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、沉於深海、○

凡使此信我之一小子、陷於罪者、寧以磨石懸其頸、沈於深海、

苟使信我之一介小子墮入罪中、不如磨石繫頸、沉諸淵海之為愈也。

“ If anyone causes one of these little ones— those who believe in me— to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depths of the sea.

“如果有人使一個信我的小弟兄犯罪，倒不如在他的頸項上拴一塊大磨石投在海裡。

耶穌又對門徒說：“使人犯罪的事是免不了的，但那使人犯罪的人有禍了！就算拿一塊大磨石拴在他的頸項上，把他沉在深海裡，比他使這小子中的一個犯罪還好。

所以，我們不要再彼此批評了；倒要立定主意，決不作絆倒弟兄或使他跌倒的事。我知道，並且在主耶穌裡深信，沒有一樣東西的本身是不潔的，但如果有人認為是不潔的，對他來說那東西就成為不潔了。如果你為了食物使你的弟兄憂愁，你就不再是憑著愛心行事了。你不可因著你的食物，使基督已經替他死了的人滅亡。

神既然是公義的，主耶穌和他有能力的天使從天上顯現在火燄中的時候，就使你們這些受災難的人，可以和我們同享安息；卻以災難報應那些把災難加給你們的人。

照樣，你們在天上的父是不願意這些小弟兄中有一個失喪的。

“你們要小心，不要輕視這些小弟兄中的一個。我告訴你們，他們的使者在天上，常常見到我天父的面。﹙有些抄本有第

然而你們要謹慎，免得你們這自由成了軟弱的人的絆腳石。因為如果有人看見你這有知識的人，在偶像的廟裡吃喝，他的良心若是軟弱，他不就放膽去吃那祭過偶像的食物嗎？因此，基督已經為他死了的那軟弱的弟兄，就因你的知識而滅亡了。你們這樣得罪弟兄，傷了他們軟弱的良心，就是得罪基督了。所以，如果食物使我的弟兄跌倒，我就永遠不再吃肉，免得使我的弟兄跌倒了。

“不可傷害我的受膏者，也不可惡待我的先知。”

無論是猶太人，是希臘人，是神的教會，你們總不可使他們跌倒；就好像我所作的一切，都是要使大家喜悅，不是要求自己的好處，而是要求別人的好處，為了要使他們得救。

我們堅強的人，應該擔當不堅強的人的軟弱，不應該求自己的喜悅。我們各人務要叫鄰舍喜悅，好讓他得到益處、得到造就。因為連基督也不求自己的喜悅；反而像經上所記的：“辱罵你的人的辱罵，都落在我的身上。”

“刀劍哪，醒來吧！攻擊我的牧人，我的同伴，（這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告。）要擊打牧人，羊群就分散；我也要轉過手來，攻擊小羊。

無論是吃肉，是喝酒，或是甚麼使你的弟兄跌倒的事，一律不要作才好。

萬軍之耶和華這樣說，得了榮耀之後，他差遣我去攻擊那些劫掠你們的列國，因為凡觸摸你們的，就是觸摸他眼中的瞳人。

他說：“主啊，你是誰？”主說：“我就是你所迫害的耶穌。
