耶穌晝在殿中施訓、夜則出宿忠果山中、眾民夙興、登殿聆訓。

耶穌出、至其常遊之忠果山、諸徒從。

行近耶路撒冷、抵伯大尼、忠果山在邇、耶穌命二徒曰：『爾赴前村、比入將見繫有一𩦺、人所未乘、可解之來。如有人問故、第曰：「主需一用、即當歸還。」』既往、果見一小驢繫戶外、當十字路口、遂解之、旁立者曰：『解𩦺何為？』門徒答如所示；即任牽行。既至耶穌處、置衣驢背耶穌乘焉。眾復舖衣于道、或自田間折樹枝布之；前後護行者、同聲呼曰：『賀三納、奉主名以至者、洵堪丕揚！吾祖大維降臨之國、洵堪丕揚！賀三納、光榮徹上蒼！』

言畢、前行、上耶路撒冷、將近白法基、伯大尼、折向忠果山、遣發二徒曰『爾入前村、將見一小驢繫焉。向無御之者、可解而牽之來、倘有人問爾、釋之何為、則答曰：主所需。』使者往、所遇悉如言、方解驢、主人問曰：『解之何為？』對曰：『主所需。』遂牽至耶穌前、解衣披驢、扶耶穌騎之、隨所至、人以己衣舖道。至忠果山下、群弟子歡忻踴躍、且以已往親睹之聖迹、同聲頌揚天主曰：『奉主名以臨、君王堪丕揚、太平寓天闕、光榮徹上蒼。』

誦聖詩訖、相偕赴忠果山。
