“这件事你们怎么看？一个人有两个儿子，他前来对大儿子说：‘孩子，你今天到葡萄园去做工吧。’

『爾曹於意云何：人有二子、諭其長者曰：「兒今日可往葡萄園工作。」

凡我良朋、當貞固不搖、常務主事、蓋知宗主、無徒勞也、

吾與智者言此、當自審之、

昔西羅亞戍樓傾圮、壓而斃者十八人、爾意斯人、較耶路撒冷居民、尤負罪乎、

天國猶家主、朝出僱工入葡萄園、

譬如一人、去家遠遊、委權於僕、各有所司、命閽者儆醒、

請復聽一譬、有家主樹葡萄園、以籬環之、中掘酒醡、建塔租與農夫、遂往異地、

彼得入室、耶穌先問曰、西門、爾意若何、世上諸王、向誰徵餉收稅乎、向己子乎、向庶民乎、

又曰、或有二子、其季子語父曰、請父以所當得之業予我、父遂以產分之、未幾、季子挾貲遠遊異地、在彼無度、蕩費其業、盡耗一切、其地大饑、困甚、遂投其地一民、遣之於田牧豕、無人餉之、欲以豕所食荳莢充腹、悔曰、我父若多傭人、其糧有餘、我乃饑而死乎、我將反就父曰、我獲罪於天、及於父前、今而後、不堪稱為爾子、視我如傭人足矣、於是反就父相去尚遠、父見憫之、趨抱其頸、接吻焉、其子曰、我獲罪於天、及父於前、今而後、不堪稱為爾子、父命諸僕曰、取美服衣之、施鐶於指、履於足、牽肥犢宰之、我儕食而樂焉、蓋此子、死而復生、失而又得者也、其父與眾共樂、適長子自田歸、將及門、聞樂舞、招一僕問其故、曰、爾弟歸、父以其無恙、復得之、故宰肥犢、長子怒、不入、父出勸之、長子曰、我事父有年、未嘗違命、父未嘗以羔賜我、俾得與友同樂、而此子狎妓、盡耗父業、乃至、則為之宰肥犢也、父曰、子常偕我、我所有者、皆為爾有、爾弟死而復生、失而又得、我儕宜喜樂也、
