「你們這瞎眼的嚮導有禍了！你們說：『凡指着聖所起誓的算不得甚麼；但是凡指着聖所中的金子起誓的，他就該謹守。』

“你们这瞎眼领路的有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着殿起誓的，这算不得什么；只是凡指着殿中金子起誓的，他就该谨守。’

“你们这瞎眼的向导有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着圣所起誓的算不得什么；但是凡指着圣所中的金子起誓的，他就该谨守。’

“你们这瞎眼的向导有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着圣所起誓的算不得什么；但是凡指着圣所中的金子起誓的，他就该谨守。’

“瞎眼的向导啊，你们有祸了！你们说，‘指着圣殿发誓，不算数；但是指着圣殿里的金子发誓，就要遵守誓言。’

“你们这些瞎眼的向导有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着圣所而起的誓，是没有用的；但指着圣所的金子而起的誓，就必须遵守。’

“你们这些瞎眼的领路人有祸了！你们说：‘如果有人指着圣所起誓，算不得什么；但如果有人指着圣所里的金子起誓，就必须遵守。’

「你們這瞎眼領路的有禍了！你們說：『凡指着殿起誓的，這算不得甚麼；只是凡指着殿中金子起誓的，他就該謹守。』

“你們這些瞎眼的嚮導有禍了！你們說：‘凡指著聖所而起的誓，是沒有用的；但指著聖所的金子而起的誓，就必須遵守。’

『瞎眼的領路人哪，你們有禍啊！你們說：「凡指着殿堂起誓的，那算不了甚麼；惟獨指着殿堂裏的金子起誓的，就必須負責任。」

「你們這些瞎眼的領路人有禍了！你們說：『如果有人指著聖所起誓，算不得什麼；但如果有人指著聖所裡的金子起誓，就必須遵守。』

禍哉、爾瞽而導者乎、每曰、人指殿而誓、則無事、惟指殿之金而誓、則當償之、

爾瞽而相者、其有禍乎、每曰、人指殿而誓、則無事、惟指殿內之金而誓、則當償之、

禍哉爾曹瞽而導人者、爾素云、指聖殿而誓、則不足為誓、惟指聖殿之金而誓、則當守之、

哀哉爾曹盲而作導者！爾謂指殿而誓、猶同無誓、若指殿中之金而誓、乃受拘束。

“ Woe to you, blind guides! You say,‘ If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gold of the temple is bound by that oath.’

“ How terrible for you, blind guides! You say,‘ If anyone makes a promise in the name of the temple, it means nothing. But anyone who makes a promise in the name of the gold of the temple must keep that promise.’

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ If anyone swears by the temple, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’

“ Blind guides! What sorrow awaits you! For you say that it means nothing to swear‘ by God’s Temple,’ but that it is binding to swear‘ by the gold in the Temple.’

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever takes an oath by the temple, it means nothing. But whoever takes an oath by the gold of the temple is bound by his oath.’

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple is obligated.’

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.’

Woe unto you, ye blind guides, that say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor.

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever takes an oath by the sanctuary, it means nothing. But whoever takes an oath by the gold of the sanctuary is bound by his oath.’

Woe unto you,[ ye] blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever swears by the temple is bound by nothing. But whoever swears by the gold of the temple is bound by the oath.’

“ Woe to you, you blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.’

由他們吧！他們是瞎子作瞎子的嚮導；若是瞎子領瞎子，兩個人都要掉在坑裏。」

你們這瞎眼的嚮導，蠓蟲你們就濾出來，駱駝你們倒吞下去。

「你們又聽過有對古人說：『不可背誓，所起的誓總要向主謹守。』但是我告訴你們：甚麼誓都不可起。不可指着天起誓，因為天是神的寶座。不可指着地起誓，因為地是他的腳凳；也不可指着耶路撒冷起誓，因為耶路撒冷是大君王的京城。

你這瞎眼的法利賽人，先洗淨杯子的裏面，好使外面也乾淨了。

我的弟兄們，最要緊的是不可起誓；不可指着天起誓，也不可指着地起誓，任何誓都不可起。你們說話，是，就說是；不是，就說不是，免得你們落在審判之下。

你們這些瞎子啊，哪個更大呢？是祭物，還是使祭物成聖的壇呢？

你們這無知的瞎子啊，哪個更大呢？是金子，還是使金子成聖的聖所呢？

耶穌說：「我為審判到這世上來，使不能看見的看見，能看見的反而失明。」同他在那裏的法利賽人聽見這些話，就對他說：「難道我們也失明了嗎？」耶穌對他們說：「你們若是失明的，就沒有罪了；但現在你們說『我們能看見』，你們的罪還在。」

以色列的守望者都瞎了眼，沒有知識；都是啞狗，不會吠叫，只知做夢，躺臥，貪睡，這些狗貪食，不知飽足。這些牧人不知明辨，他們都偏行己路，人人追求自己的利益。

我再指着凡受割禮的人確實地說，他有義務遵行全部的律法。

你們倒說：『無論誰對父母說：我所當供奉你的已經作了奉獻，就可以不孝敬他的父親。』這就是你們藉着傳統，廢了神的話。

摩西說：『當孝敬父母』；又說：『咒罵父母的，必須處死。』你們倒說：『人若對父母說：我所當供奉你的已經作了各耳板』（各耳板就是奉獻的意思），你們就容許他不必再奉養父母。這就是你們藉着繼承傳統，廢了神的話。你們還做許多這樣的事。」
