“他们会问，‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了，或渴了，或身在异乡，或赤身露体，或病了，或坐牢，却没有帮助你呢？’

他们就回答：‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了、渴了、作旅客、赤身露体、病了，或在监里，却没有服事你呢？’

“那时他们也要回答说：‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了，或渴了，或在异乡，或衣不蔽体，或患了病，或在监狱里，而没有服事你呢？’

那時他們也必回答說：「主啊，我們甚麼時候見你餓了，或渴了，或做旅客，或赤着身子，或病了，或在監裏，沒有服事你呢？」

「那時他們也要回答說：『主啊，我們什麼時候見你餓了，或渴了，或在異鄉，或衣不蔽體，或患了病，或在監獄裡，而沒有服事你呢？』

彼亦將應之曰、主、我何時見爾飢、渴、旅、裸、病、及在獄、而不事爾乎、

“ Then they will reply,‘ Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’

“ Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help you?’

Then they themselves also will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’

“ Then they also will answer Him, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’

Then shall they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

“ Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help You?’

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not give you whatever you needed?’

“ Then they will also answer, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’

掃羅回答撒母耳：“我實在聽從了耶和華的話，行了耶和華差遣我行的路；我把亞瑪力人的王亞甲帶了回來，又把亞瑪力人都徹底毀滅了。可是眾民卻從那些戰利品中，取了應當毀滅之物中上好的牛羊，要在吉甲獻給耶和華你的神為祭。”

你們用自己的言語使耶和華厭煩，你們還說：“我們怎樣使他厭煩呢？”因為你們說：“作惡的，耶和華都看為善，並且喜悅他們。”或說：“公義的神在哪裡呢？”

耶和華說：“你們用無禮的話頂撞我。你們還問：‘我們用甚麼話頂撞了你呢？’

萬軍之耶和華對你們說：“藐視我名的祭司啊！兒子尊敬父親，僕人敬畏主人。我若是父親，我該受的尊敬在哪裡呢？我若是主人，我應得的敬畏在哪裡呢？”你們卻說：“我們怎樣藐視了你的名呢？”

撒母耳到了掃羅那裡，掃羅對他說：“願耶和華賜福給你！我已經執行了耶和華的命令。”撒母耳說：“我耳中聽見有羊叫牛鳴的聲音，到底是甚麼呢？”掃羅回答：“這是眾民從亞瑪力人那裡帶來的，因為他們愛惜這些上好的牛羊，要獻給耶和華你的神為祭；其餘的，我們都已經徹底毀滅了。”

那人想證明自己有理，就對耶穌說：“誰是我的鄰舍呢？”

“你怎麼能說：‘我沒有玷污自己，未曾跟從過巴力’呢？看看你在谷中的行徑，想想你所作過的！簡直像快捷的小雌駝，在路上亂闖；

那領了六千的也前來，說：‘主啊，我知道你是個嚴厲的人，沒有撒種的地方，你要收割；沒有散播的地方，你要收聚。所以，我就害怕起來，去把你的錢藏在地裡。你看，你的錢還在這裡。’可是主人對他說：‘你這個又可惡又懶惰的僕人，你既然知道我要在沒有撒種的地方收割，在沒有散播的地方收聚，那你就應該把我的錢存入銀行，到我回來的時候，可以連本帶利收回。

你還說：我是無辜的，他的怒氣必已離開我。看哪！我要審判你，因為你曾說：我沒有犯罪！

到那日，必有許多人對我說：‘主啊，主啊！難道我們沒有奉你的名講道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行過許多神蹟嗎？’
