Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

“那时他们也要回答说：‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了，或渴了，或在异乡，或衣不蔽体，或患了病，或在监狱里，而没有服事你呢？’

彼亦將應之曰、主、我何時見爾飢、渴、旅、裸、病、及在獄、而不事爾乎、

“ Then they will reply,‘ Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’

“ Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help you?’

Then they themselves also will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’

“ Then they also will answer Him, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’

“ Then they will also answer, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’

And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.

Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied[ him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil[ is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where[ is] the God of judgment?

Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken[ so much] against thee?

A son honoureth[ his] father, and a servant his master: if then I[ be] a father, where[ is] mine honour? and if I[ be] a master, where[ is] my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed[ be] thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.And Samuel said, What[ meaneth] then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done:[ thou art] a swift dromedary traversing her ways;

Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo,[ there] thou hast[ that is] thine.His lord answered and said unto him,[ Thou] wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and[ then] at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
