是日適值免難節預備日、時在正午。比辣多謂猶大人曰：『睹爾王！』

是為大禮日前夕。既暮、

因值猶太人之備禮日、乃取其近便、即以是壙安窀耶穌。

何列邦之擾攘兮。何萬民之猖狂。世酋蠭起兮。跋扈飛揚。共圖背叛天主兮。反抗受命之王。曰吾儕豈長甘羈絆兮。盍解其縛而脫其繮。在天者必大笑兮。笑蜉蝣之不知自量。終必勃然而怒兮。以懲當車之螳螂。主曰吾已立君於西溫聖山之上兮。

是為備禮日、即禮日之前夕也。自加利利偕來諸婦、隨後送之、既見塋壙、視遺體安葬始返、乃置備香料香膏；禮日、循例休息。

除酵之首日、門徒進問耶穌曰：『免難節宴、子欲備筵何處？』

今希祿與般雀‧比辣多果率異邦及義塞之人民、群集於城、反抗爾之聖子耶穌即爾所膏沐、以奉行爾所手訂之聖謨者也。

時值備禮日、猶太人不欲於禮日懸屍架上、蓋禮日乃大節日也爰語比辣多命折斷其脛而下之。

黎明、司祭諸長及民間耆老、群議處耶穌以死。乃縛送於方伯比辣多。
