但我复活以后，要在你们之前往加利利去。”

耶稣对她们说：“不要害怕！你们去告诉我的弟兄，叫他们往加利利去，在那里会见到我。”

他们一进城，就上了所住的楼房；在那里有彼得、约翰、雅各、安得烈、腓力、多马、巴多罗买、马太、亚勒腓的儿子雅各、激进党的西门，和雅各的儿子犹大。这些人和几个妇人，包括耶稣的母亲马利亚，和耶稣的兄弟，都同心合意地恒切祷告。那时，有许多人聚会，约有一百二十名，彼得在弟兄中间站起来，说：“诸位弟兄，圣经的话必须应验。圣经中，圣灵曾藉大卫的口预先说到那领人来拿耶稣的犹大；他本来算是我们中的一个，并且得了这一份使徒的职任。这人用他不义的代价买了一块田，以后身子仆倒，肚腹崩裂，肠子都流出来。住在耶路撒冷的人都知道这事，所以按着他们当地的话把那块田叫亚革大马，就是“血田”的意思。因为《诗篇》上写着：“愿他的住处变为废墟，无人在内居住。”又说：“愿别人得他的职分。”所以，主耶稣在我们中间出入的整段时间，就是从约翰施洗起，直到主离开我们被接上升的日子为止，必须从那常与我们一起的人中，立一位与我们同作耶稣复活的见证。”

这样，我们甚至被当作是为神妄作见证的，因为我们见证神是使基督复活了。如果死人真的没有复活，神就没有使基督复活了。

耶稣回答他们：“我不是拣选了你们十二个吗？但你们中间有一个是魔鬼。”
