So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

“ So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

你们希望别人怎样对待你们，你们也应当怎样对待别人。

你们对任何人都不要亏欠什么；唯有在彼此相爱的事上，要常以为亏欠。实际上，爱别人的，就成全了律法。这是因为，那“不可通奸，不可杀人，不可偷窃，不可贪心”的诫命，或是别的什么诫命，都包含在“要爱邻如己”这一句话里了。爱是对邻人不做恶事，因此爱是成全律法的。

弟兄们，你们蒙召是为了得自由，只是不可用这自由给肉体一个机会，而是要藉着爱彼此服事，因为全部律法都在“要爱邻如己”这一句话里得以满足了。

耶稣回答：“最重要的是：‘以色列啊，你当听好！主——我们的神，是独一的主。你要以全心、全灵、全意、全力爱主——你的神。’“其次就是‘要爱邻如己。’没有别的诫命比这两条更大的了。”那经文士就对耶稣说：“不错，老师，你真的讲了：神只有一位，除他以外没有别的神。以全心、全智、全力来爱神，并且要爱邻如己，这是比所有的燔祭和各种祭祀都重要的。”耶稣见他回答得有智慧，就对他说：“你离神的国不远了。”于是，没有人敢再质问耶稣了。

这样吩咐的目的是爱。爱是发自洁净的心、无愧的良心，以及不虚假的信仰。

其次的也和它类似，‘要爱邻如己。’全部律法和先知书都是以这两条诫命为依据的。”

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们施行审判；我要快快作证控告那些行巫术的、通奸的、起假誓的、在工酬上欺压雇工的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居者的，以及不敬畏我的！

因为那遵守整个律法的人，只在一条上跌倒，就成了干犯所有律法的了。原来那位说过“不可通奸”的，也说过“不可杀人”。你即使不通奸，却杀人，你还是成了违犯律法的人。既然你们将要照着那使人得自由的律法受审判，就应当照此说话、行事。要知道，那不施怜悯的人，要受毫无怜悯的审判；怜悯胜过审判。

学习行善，寻求公正，指责欺压者，给孤儿伸冤，为寡妇辩屈！”耶和华说：“来吧，让我们彼此理论；你们的罪虽像朱红，必洁白如雪；虽赤如丹红，必白如羊毛。
