Therefore you shall give presents to Moresheth Gath; The houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.I will yet bring an heir to you, O inhabitant of Mareshah; The glory of Israel shall come to Adullam.

“ For Israel has forgotten his Maker, And has built temples; Judah also has multiplied fortified cities; But I will send fire upon his cities, And it shall devour his palaces.”

I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel: There is the harlotry of Ephraim; Israel is defiled.Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you, When I return the captives of My people.

“ Though you, Israel, play the harlot, Let not Judah offend. Do not come up to Gilgal, Nor go up to Beth Aven, Nor swear an oath, saying,‘ As the Lord lives’—
