先知曰、緣此我必哀痛哭泣、必跣足裸體而行、必哀鳴若豺狼、豺狼或作野犬號呼若鴕鳥、

惟曠野之猛獸藏伏於彼、鴟鴞棲於其室、鴟鴞棲於其室或作咆哮之聲盈於其室鴕鳥居於彼、野山羊跳躍於彼、

故我心為摩押人悲戚、若簫簫或作笛下同聲之哀慘、我心為基珥哈列斯人悲戚、若簫聲之哀慘、因彼所獲之貨財、盡已亡矣、彼俱除髮薙鬚、割傷己手、腰間繫麻、主曰、在摩押各樓巔、諸街衢、人俱哀哭、蓋我已毀摩押、如毀無用之器皿、摩押已毀、或作摩押驚惶當為之號哭、摩押含羞抱愧、轉背逃遁、為四周之人所訕笑、使四周之人驚駭、

我如曠野之鵜鶘、又如荒墟之鴟鴞、
