宣播訓言、為人禁止、人不許余宣斯言者、以為凌辱其民、

他们的先知说：“不要说预言了，不要预言这种事，我们不会蒙受羞辱。”

有人预言说：“你们不要说预言；人不可预言这些事；羞耻不会临到我们。”

他們說：你們不可說預言；不可向這些人說預言，不住地羞辱我們。

他們傳講說：「不可傳講；人都不可傳講這些事，羞辱不會臨到我們。」

他們傳講說：「不可傳講；人都不可傳講這些事，羞辱不會臨到我們。」

他們的先知說：「不要說預言了，不要預言這種事，我們不會蒙受羞辱。」

有人預言說：“你們不要說預言；人不可預言這些事；羞恥不會臨到我們。”

有人發神言說：『不可發神言；人不該發神言論到這些事；羞辱是不會趕上來的。』

彼云、爾曹勿言預言、勿道此事、侮辱之言、永不止息、

彼謂先知云、勿述預言、先知雖不題此事述預言、凌辱猶不得免、或作彼眾互言先知不當題此事述預言因先知所出凌辱之言永無息止

“ Do not prophesy,” their prophets say.“ Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us.”

“ Don’t prophesy,” the people’s prophets say.“ Don’t prophesy about bad things. Nothing shameful is going to happen to us.”

“ Do not preach”— thus they preach—“ one should not preach of such things; disgrace will not overtake us.”

“ Don’t say such things,” the people respond.“ Don’t prophesy like that. Such disasters will never come our way!”

“ Quit your preaching,” they preach.“ They should not preach these things; shame will not overtake us.”

‘ Do not prophesy,’ so they prophesy. But if they do not prophesy about these things, Insults will not be turned back.

“ Do not prattle,” you say to those who prophesy. So they shall not prophesy to you; They shall not return insult for insult.

Prophesy ye not, thus they prophesy. They shall not prophesy to these: reproaches shall not depart.

“ Quit your preaching,” they preach.“ They should not preach these things; shame will not overtake us.”

Prophesy ye not,[ say they to them that] prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them,[ that] they shall not take shame.

‘ Don’t preach with such impassioned rhetoric,’ they say excitedly.‘ These prophets should not preach of such things; we will not be overtaken by humiliation.’

“ Don’t prophesy!” They prophesy.“ Don’t prophesy about these things. Disgrace won’t overtake us.”

爾使離世故者飲酒、使為先知者、不播訓言、

彼使先見者、毋庸明察、睹異象者、不以正道相勉、而以柔媚之詞相告、以虛誕之理相傳、

有基列耶林人、示罵雅子烏哩亞、藉耶和華名、言斯邑斯地必毀、與耶利米言無異。約雅金王、與諸方伯武士、既聞斯言、欲謀殺之、烏哩亞知之則懼、逃於埃及、約雅金王遣亞革破子利拿單、與從者數人、詣埃及、曳烏哩亞出、至約雅金王前、殺之、棄尸於賤者之墓。

我儕非嚴禁爾曹、勿以此名訓人乎、爾乃遍耶路撒冷播教、欲以此人之血歸咎我也、○

眾然其言、召使徒入、扑之、命勿以耶穌名訓人、遂釋之、○

暗利王之法度、爾乃恪守焉、亞哈家之愆尤、爾反則傚、與之同謀焉、故我必使爾邑荒蕪、人作怨恨之聲、昔爾為我民、後必為眾戮辱焉。

猶太人殺主耶穌、及諸先知、又窘逐我儕、不悅於上帝、而與眾人敵、我欲訓異邦人使得救、彼阻尼之、如是厥罪貫盈、終必罹罰、

人子、爾當遙望耶路撒冷、指以色列地之聖所、而言未來事、

惟勿以此播眾、當恐喝之、俾毋以斯名訓人、

醫民之傷、不過皮毛、謂有平康、平康不至。彼行可惡之事、豈有羞惡之心哉。恬不知恥、毫不懷慙、故我耶和華降災之時、必使傾圮、淪胥以亡。

毋在伯特利播言、此處王之聖所、宮闕在焉。

爾強項塞心充耳之人、恆逆聖神、爾祖所行、爾亦若是、

我之禮文、不復再見、我之先知、卒無一人、不知胡底兮。

人子、爾當望南方、指南郊之林、而言未來事、曰、

醫民之傷、不過皮毛、謂有平康、平康不至。彼行可惡之事、豈有羞惡之心哉、恬不知羞、毫不懷慙、故我耶和華降災之時、必使傾圮、淪胥以亡。

主耶和華又曰、時日將至、必使斯土之民、如饑如渴、非欲食餅飲水、乃慕耶和華之道、人必遨遊、自湖至海、自北至東、求我耶和華之道、而不能得、當是日、美女壯士、口舌煩渴、喪失其魂、

耶利米以耶和華所命者、悉告庶民、其言既竟、祭司先知、與眾民執之、曰、爾罪當死、爾何藉耶和華名、言此殿必見棄、如示羅然、此邑必荒蕪、無人居處、眾民集於耶和華殿、攻耶利米。

我使爾舌卷、瘖不能言、維彼悖逆之流、毋庸督責、
