And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

耶穌對他們說：「凡休妻另娶的，就是犯姦淫，辜負他的妻子；

耶穌說：「任何人休妻另娶，就是對妻子不忠，是犯通姦罪。

他對他們說：“誰休妻另娶，誰就是犯姦淫，得罪了妻子。

耶穌對他們說：『凡離棄妻子，同另一個人結婚的，就是犯姦淫辜負了妻子；

耶穌就說：「如果有人休妻，另娶別人，就是犯通姦罪觸犯妻子。

耶穌曰、凡棄妻而他娶者、乃負妻行淫也、

耶穌曰、凡棄妻他娶者、是淫行也、

耶穌曰、凡出妻而他娶者、即負妻而犯姦也、

耶穌曰：『出妻而他娶、是背妻而姦也。

He answered,“ Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her.

He answered,“ What if a man divorces his wife and gets married to another woman? He commits adultery against her.

And he said to them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her,

He told them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery against her.

He said to them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

And He* said to them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her;

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except[ it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from[ her] husband committeth adultery.

So then if, while[ her] husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

And unto the married I command,[ yet] not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from[ her] husband:But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to[ her] husband: and let not the husband put away[ his] wife.

It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Marriage[ is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
