那個人對耶穌說：「老師，這一切我從年少就遵守了。」

對曰、夫子、凡此我自幼悉守之矣、

對曰、先生、我自幼盡守之矣、

對曰、師、此諸誡、我自幼盡守之、

對曰：『夫子、凡此皆自幼遵行。』

“ Teacher,” he declared,“ all these I have kept since I was a boy.”

“ Teacher,” he said,“ I have obeyed all those commandments since I was a boy.”

And he said to him,“ Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.”

“ Teacher,” the man replied,“ I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.”

He said to him,“ Teacher, I have kept all these from my youth.”

And he said to Him,“ Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth.”

And he answered and said to Him,“ Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”

And he said unto him, Teacher, all these things have I observed from my youth.

He said to Him,“ Teacher, I have kept all these from my youth.”

And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.

The man said to him,“ Teacher, I have wholeheartedly obeyed all these laws since my youth.”

He said to him,“ Teacher, I have observed all these things from my youth.”

“ All these I have kept,” the young man said.“ What do I still lack?” (niv)

My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain.Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice. as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless. (niv)

Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died. (niv)

But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus,“ And who is my neighbor?” (niv)

“ I will make you a ruin and a reproach among the nations around you, in the sight of all who pass by. (niv)

For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them. (niv)

having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (niv)

“ Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.“ But you ask,‘ How are we robbing you?’“ In tithes and offerings. (niv)

The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:‘ God, I thank you that I am not like other people— robbers, evildoers, adulterers— or even like this tax collector.I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ (niv)
