慈伯德子雅谷伯若望謂耶穌曰：『夫子請允我所求。』

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him.“ Teacher,” they said,“ we want you to do for us whatever we ask.”

James and John came to Jesus. They were the sons of Zebedee.“ Teacher,” they said,“ we would like to ask you for a favor.”

And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came up to him and said to him,“ Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of you.”

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came over and spoke to him.“ Teacher,” they said,“ we want you to do us a favor.”

James and John, the sons of Zebedee, approached him and said,“ Teacher, we want you to do whatever we ask you.”

James and John, the two sons of Zebedee,* came up to Jesus, saying to Him,“ Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask of You.”

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying,“ Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask.”

And there come near unto him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying unto him, Teacher, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall ask of thee.

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, approached Him and said,“ Teacher, we want You to do something for us if we ask You.”

And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him and said,“ Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask.”

James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came near to him, saying,“ Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we will ask.”

那時，西庇太兒子的母親和她兩個兒子上前來，向耶穌叩頭，求他一件事。耶穌問她：「你要甚麼呢？」她對耶穌說：「在你的國裏，請讓我這兩個兒子一個坐在你右邊，一個坐在你左邊。」耶穌回答：「你們不知道所求的是甚麼。我將要喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？」他們對他說：「我們能。」耶穌說：「我所喝的杯，你們要喝。可是坐在我的左右，不是我可以賜的，而是我父為誰預備就賜給誰。」其餘十個門徒聽見，就對他們兄弟二人很生氣。耶穌叫了他們來，說：「你們知道，外邦人有君王作主治理他們，有大臣操權管轄他們。但是在你們中間，不可這樣。你們中間誰願為大，就要作你們的用人；誰願為首，就要作你們的僕人。正如人子來，不是要受人的服事，乃是要服事人，並且要捨命，作多人的贖價。」

拔示巴說：「我要向你提出一個小小的請求，請你不要回絕我。」王對她說：「母親，請提出來，我必不回絕你。」

現在我有一件事求你，請你不要推辭。」拔示巴對他說：「你說吧。」

耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和他弟弟約翰在船上補網。耶穌隨即呼召他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工留在船上，跟從了耶穌。

於是他帶着彼得、雅各和約翰同去。他驚恐起來，極其難過，

提哥亞婦人到王面前，臉伏於地叩拜，說：「王啊，求你拯救！」王對她說：「你有甚麼事呢？」她說：「我實在是個寡婦，我丈夫死了。婢女有兩個兒子，二人在田間打架，沒有人從中勸解，一個擊殺另一個，把他打死了。看哪，全家族都起來攻擊婢女，說：『把那打死兄弟的交出來，我們好處死他，為他所打死的兄弟償命，滅絕那承受家業的。』這樣，他們要把我剩下的炭火滅盡，不給我丈夫留名或留後在地面上。」王對婦人說：「你回家去吧！我必為你下個命令。」提哥亞婦人又對王說：「我主我王，願這罪孽歸我和我的父家，與王和王的位無關。」王說：「有人說話難為你，你就帶他到我這裏來，他必不再攪擾你。」婦人說：「願王對耶和華－你的上帝發誓，不許報血仇的人施行毀滅，免得他們滅絕我的兒子。」王說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓：你的兒子連一根頭髮也不致落在地上。」
