And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:

他们回答说：“我们能。”耶稣就说：“我所喝的杯你们将要喝，我所受的洗礼你们将要受。

他們說：「我們能。」耶穌說：「我所喝的杯，你們也要喝；我所受的洗，你們也要受；

他們說：「我們能。」耶穌說：「我要喝的那杯，你們也要喝；我所受的洗，你們也要受。

他們說：“能。”耶穌說：“我喝的杯，你們固然要喝；我受的洗，你們也要受。

對曰：『能。』耶穌曰：『我飲之爵、爾固須飲；我受之洗、爾固須受；

“ We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them,“ You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with,

“ We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them,“ You will drink the cup I drink. And you will go through the baptism I go through.

And they said to him,“ We are able.” And Jesus said to them,“ The cup that I drink you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized,

“ Oh yes,” they replied,“ we are able!” Then Jesus told them,“ You will indeed drink from my bitter cup and be baptized with my baptism of suffering.

“ We are able,” they told him. Jesus said to them,“ You will drink the cup I drink, and you will be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with.

They said to Him,“ We are able.” And Jesus said to them,“ The cup that I drink you shall drink; and you shall be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized.

They said to Him,“ We are able.” So Jesus said to them,“ You will indeed drink the cup that I drink, and with the baptism I am baptized with you will be baptized;

And they said unto him, We are able. And Jesus said unto them, The cup that I drink ye shall drink; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:

“ We are able,” they told Him. Jesus said to them,“ You will drink the cup I drink, and you will be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with.

They said to him,“ We are able.” Then Jesus said to them,“ You will drink the cup I drink, and you will be baptized with the baptism I experience,

They said to him,“ We are able.” Jesus said to them,“ You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more[ shall they call] them of his household?

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

And he said, Abba, Father, all things[ are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.
