A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one. (niv)

since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. (niv)

So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that“ An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that“ There is no God but one.” (niv)

to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. (niv)

He answered,“‘ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and,‘ Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (niv)

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that— and shudder. (niv)

The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live. (niv)

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, (niv)

“ Well said, teacher,” the man replied.“ You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” (niv)

“ Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. (niv)

The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. (niv)

And do not call anyone on earth‘ father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. (niv)

And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, (niv)

My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways, (niv)
