耶稣回答他：“我一向都是公开地对世人讲话，我常在会堂和圣殿里，就是犹太人聚集的地方教导人，我私下并没有讲什么。

耶稣从那里往前走，有两个盲人跟着他，喊叫说：“大卫之子，可怜我们吧！”

耶稣天天在圣殿里教导人。祭司长、文士和百姓的领袖都想杀他，

法利赛人聚集的时候，耶稣问他们：“论到基督，你们的意见如何？他是谁的后裔呢？”他们说：“是大卫的。”耶稣说：“这样，大卫被圣灵感动，怎么还称他为主，说：‘主对我主说：你坐在我的右边，等我把你的仇敌放在你脚下？’大卫既称他为主，他怎么又是大卫的后裔呢？”
