『至於彼時彼日、無人知之。天神不知、人子亦不知、惟父知之。

“ But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“ But no one knows about that day or hour. Not even the angels in heaven know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows.

耶穌對他們說：「父憑着自己的權柄所定的時候和日期，不是你們可以知道的。

所以，你們要警醒，因為那日子，那時辰，你們不知道。」

「但那日子，那時辰，沒有人知道，連天上的天使也不知道，子也不知道，惟有父知道。挪亞的日子怎樣，人子來臨也要怎樣。在洪水以前的那些日子，人照常吃喝嫁娶，直到挪亞進方舟的那日，不知不覺洪水來了，把他們全都沖去。人子來臨也要這樣。那時，兩個人在田裏，一個被接去，一個被撇下。兩個女人推磨，一個被接去，一個被撇下。所以，你們要警醒，因為不知道你們的主哪一天來到。

弟兄們，關於那時候和日期，不用人寫信給你們，因為你們自己明明知道，主的日子來到會像賊在夜間突然來到一樣。

那時，他們要看見人子帶着大能力和榮耀駕雲來臨。他要差遣天使，從四方，從地極直到天邊，召集他的選民。」

半夜有人喊：『看，新郎來了，你們出來迎接他。』

過了許久，那些僕人的主人來了，和他們算賬。

但主的日子要像賊一樣來到；那日，天必在轟然一聲中消失，天體都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的萬物都要燒盡。

所以，要記得你所領受和聽見的；要遵守，並要悔改。你若不警醒，我必如賊一樣來到；我幾時來到你那裏，你絕不會知道。
