正说这些话的时候，耶稣亲自站在他们当中，说：“愿你们平安！”他们却惊慌害怕，以为所看见的是魂。耶稣对他们说：“你们为什么惊恐不安？为什么心里起疑惑呢？你们看我的手和我的脚，就知道实在是我了。摸摸我，看，因为魂无骨无肉，你们看，我是有的。”说了这话，他就把手和脚给他们看。他们还在又惊又喜、不敢相信的时候，耶稣对他们说：“你们这里有什么吃的没有？”他们给了他一片烤鱼，他接过来，在他们面前吃了。

经上说：“今日，你们若听他的话，就不可硬着心，像在背叛之时。”听见他而又背叛他的是谁呢？岂不是跟着摩西从埃及出来的众人吗？神向谁发怒四十年之久呢？岂不是那些犯罪而陈尸在旷野的人吗？他向谁起誓，不容他们进入他的安息呢？岂不是向那些不信从的人吗？这样看来，他们不能进入安息是因为不信的缘故了。

凡我所疼爱的，我就责备管教。所以，你要发热心，也要悔改。

所以，正如圣灵所说：“今日，你们若听他的话，就不可硬着心，像在背叛之时，就如在旷野受试探之日。

那时，耶稣在一些城行了许多异能。因为城里的人不肯悔改，他就责备那些城说：

他们听见耶稣活了，被马利亚看见，可是不信。〕〔这些事以后，门徒中有两个人往乡下去；正走着的时候，耶稣以另一种形像向他们显现。他们去告诉其余的门徒，那些门徒还是不信。〕〔

你们不可硬着心，像在米利巴，就是在旷野玛撒的日子。那时，你们的祖宗试我，探我，并且观看我的作为。四十年之久，我厌烦那世代，说：“这是心里迷糊的百姓，竟不知道我的道路！”所以，我在怒中起誓：“他们断不可进入我的安息！”

耶稣对他们说：“你们也是这样不明白吗？难道你们不了解，凡从外面进去的不能玷污人吗？

耶稣知道了，就说：“你们这小信的人，为什么因为没有饼就彼此议论呢？你们还不明白吗？不记得那五个饼分给五千人，你们收拾了多少篮子的碎屑吗？也不记得那七个饼分给四千人，你们又收拾了多少筐子的碎屑吗？我对你们说‘要防备法利赛人和撒都该人的酵’，这话不是指着饼说的，你们怎么不明白呢？”

耶稣对他们说：“是因你们的信心小。我实在告诉你们，你们若有信心像一粒芥菜种，就是对这座山说：‘你从这边移到那边’，它也会移过去，并且你们没有一件不能做的事了。”

耶稣对他们说：“无知的人哪，先知所说的一切话，你们的心信得太迟钝了。

耶稣知道了，就说：“你们为什么因为没有饼就议论呢？你们还不领悟，还不明白吗？你们的心还是愚顽吗？你们有眼睛，看不见吗？有耳朵，听不到吗？也不记得吗？

耶和华对摩西说：“这百姓藐视我要到几时呢？我在他们中间行了这一切神迹，他们还不信我要到几时呢？

然后他对多马说：“把你的指头伸到这里来，看看我的手；把你的手伸过来，探入我的肋旁。不要疑惑，总要信！”

那日（就是七日的第一日）晚上，门徒因怕犹太人，所在的地方门都关了。耶稣来，站在当中，对他们说：“愿你们平安！”说了这话，他把手和肋旁给他们看。门徒一看见主就喜乐了。

耶稣说：“连你们也还不明白吗？难道你们不了解，凡进到口里的，是经过肚子，又排入厕所吗？
