他们喊着说：“上帝的儿子啊！我们和你有什么关系？时候还没有到，你就来叫我们受苦吗？”

当时会堂里有一个被污鬼附身的人喊道：“拿撒勒的耶稣啊，我们和你有什么关系？你是来毁灭我们吗？我知道你是谁，你是上帝的圣者！”

试探者前来对祂说：“如果你是上帝的儿子，可以叫这些石头变成食物。”

并赶出许多附在人身上的鬼。那些鬼喊叫着：“你是上帝的儿子！”耶稣却斥责它们，不许它们说话，因为它们知道祂是基督。

他一见到耶稣，就扑倒在祂面前，高声喊叫：“至高上帝的儿子耶稣，我和你有什么关系？求求你，不要折磨我！”

她跟着保罗和我们大喊大叫：“这些人是至高上帝的奴仆，是来向你们宣讲得救之道的。”

你相信上帝只有一位，你信得没错，鬼魔也相信，而且恐惧战抖。

鬼就哀求耶稣：“如果你要赶我们出去，就让我们进入猪群吧！”

说：“如果你是上帝的儿子，就跳下去吧！因为圣经上说，‘上帝会差遣祂的天使用手托住你，不让你的脚碰在石头上。’”

那时，有几个走江湖的犹太术士也想用耶稣的名赶鬼，他们向那些被邪灵附身的人说：“我奉保罗所传讲的耶稣之名，命令你们出来！”做这事的有犹太祭司长士基瓦的七个儿子。邪灵回答说：“耶稣，我认识；保罗，我也知道。但你们是谁？”被邪灵附身的人随即扑向他们，攻击他们，制服了他们，使他们赤着身子带着伤从屋里逃走了。全以弗所的犹太人和希腊人知道了这件事，都惊惧不已。主耶稣的名因此大受尊崇。

他昼夜在坟场和山野间大喊大叫，又用石头砍自己。他远远看见耶稣，就跑过去跪下来拜祂，喊着说：

船上的人都敬拜祂，说：“你真是上帝的儿子。”

有关上帝的儿子耶稣基督的福音是这样开始的。
