他们喊着说：“神的儿子，我们与你有什么相干？时候还没有到，你就上这里来叫我们受苦吗？”

在会堂里，有一个人被污鬼附着。他喊叫说：“拿撒勒人耶稣，我们与你有什么相干？你来灭我们吗？我知道你是谁，乃是神的圣者。”

那试探人的进前来，对他说：“你若是神的儿子，可以吩咐这些石头变成食物。”

又有鬼从好些人身上出来，喊着说：“你是神的儿子。”耶稣斥责他们，不许他们说话，因为他们知道他是基督。

他见了耶稣，就俯伏在他面前，大声喊叫，说：“至高神的儿子耶稣，我与你有什么相干？求你不要叫我受苦！”

她跟随保罗和我们，喊着说：“这些人是至高神的仆人，对你们传说救人的道。”

你信神只有一位，你信的不错；鬼魔也信，却是战惊。

鬼就央求耶稣，说：“若把我们赶出去，就打发我们进入猪群吧！”

对他说：“你若是神的儿子，可以跳下去，因为经上记着说：‘主要为你吩咐他的使者用手托着你，免得你的脚碰在石头上。’”

那时，有几个游行各处、念咒赶鬼的犹太人，向那被恶鬼附的人擅自称主耶稣的名，说：“我奉保罗所传的耶稣敕令你们出来！”做这事的，有犹太祭司长士基瓦的七个儿子。恶鬼回答他们说：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道。你们却是谁呢？”恶鬼所附的人就跳在他们身上，胜了其中二人，制伏他们，叫他们赤着身子受了伤，从那房子里逃出去了。凡住在以弗所的，无论是犹太人，是希腊人，都知道这事，也都惧怕；主耶稣的名从此就尊大了。

他昼夜常在坟茔里和山中喊叫，又用石头砍自己。他远远地看见耶稣，就跑过去拜他，

在船上的人都拜他，说：“你真是神的儿子了。”

神的儿子，耶稣基督福音的起头。
