在圣者的会中，他是大有威严的神，比在他四围所有的更可畏惧。

众人惊讶地说：“这是怎样的一个人？连风和海都听从他。”

但你们要敬畏耶和华，诚诚实实地尽心事奉他，因你们要留意，他向你们所行的事何等大。

耶稣对他们说：“你们的信心在哪里呢？”他们又惧怕又惊讶，彼此说：“这到底是谁？他吩咐风和水，连风和水都听从他。”

他们一上船，风就停了。

主啊，谁敢不敬畏你，不把荣耀归于你的名？因为只有你是神圣的。万民都要来，在你面前敬拜，因你公义的作为已经彰显了。”

说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过；你狂傲的浪要到此止住。’

那女人知道在自己身上所成的事，就恐惧战兢，来俯伏在耶稣跟前，将实情全告诉他。

于是撒母耳求告耶和华，耶和华就在这日打雷降雨，众百姓就非常惧怕耶和华和撒母耳。众百姓对撒母耳说：“请你为仆人向耶和华—你的神祷告，免得我们死亡，因为我们求立王的事，正是罪上加罪了。”撒母耳对百姓说：“不要惧怕！你们虽然行了这恶，却不要偏离耶和华，只要尽心事奉他。

我曾与他立生命和平安的约。我将这两样赐给他，使他存敬畏的心；他就敬畏我，惧怕我的名。

他们把约拿抬起来，抛进海里，海的狂浪就平息了。那些人就大大惧怕耶和华，向耶和华献祭许愿。

他说：“我是希伯来人，我敬畏耶和华，天上的神，他创造了沧海和陆地。”那些人就大大惧怕，对他说：“你做的是什么事呢？”原来他们已经知道他在躲避耶和华，因为他告诉了他们。

众人分外惊奇，说：“他所做的事样样都好，他甚至使聋子听见，哑巴说话。”

所以，既然我们得了不能被震动的国度，就要感恩，照着神所喜悦的，用虔诚、敬畏的心事奉神，

众人都惊讶，彼此对问：“这是什么道理呢？因为他用权柄能力命令污灵，污灵就出来。”
