耶穌走遍加利利，在各會堂裏教導人，宣講天國的福音，醫治百姓各樣的疾病。

耶穌講完了這些話，眾人對他的教導都感到驚奇，

他們到了迦百農，耶穌就在安息日進了會堂教導人。他們對他的教導感到很驚奇，因為他教導他們正像有權柄的人，不像文士。

於是他走遍全加利利，在他們的會堂傳道，並且趕鬼。

耶穌下到迦百農，就是加利利的一座城，在安息日教導眾人。他們對他的教導感到很驚奇，因為他的話裏有權柄。

說：「這不是約瑟的兒子耶穌嗎？我們豈不認得他的父母嗎？現在他怎麼說『我是從天上降下來的』呢？」

猶太人驚訝地說：「這個人沒有學過，怎麼那樣熟悉經典呢？」

他在各會堂裏教導人，眾人都稱讚他。

他們見彼得、約翰的膽量，又看出他們原是沒有學問的平民，就很驚訝，認出他們曾是跟耶穌一起的；又看見那治好了的人和他們一同站着，就無話可駁。
