他們走近所要去的村子，耶穌好像還要往前走，

他或是半夜來，或是天亮之前來，看見僕人這樣，那些僕人就有福了。

他獨自鋪張諸天，步行在海浪之上。

破曉時分，耶和華從雲柱、火柱中瞭望埃及的軍兵，使埃及的軍兵混亂。

那時船已離岸好幾里，因風不順，被浪顛簸。

在水中立樓閣的棟梁，用雲彩為車輦，藉着風的翅膀而行，

說：「看哪，我主，請你們轉到僕人家裏過夜，洗你們的腳，清早起來再上路。」他們說：「不！我們要在廣場上過夜。」

第二日，掃羅把百姓分為三隊，在清晨換崗哨的時候入侵亞捫人的軍營，擊殺他們直到中午的時候。逃脫的人都分散了，甚至沒有兩個人同在一起。

這些人不是從血生的，不是從情慾生的，也不是從人的意願生的，而是從神生的。

那人說：「天快亮了，讓我走吧！」雅各說：「你不給我祝福，我就不讓你走。」

耶和華在高處大有威力，勝過諸水的響聲，洋海的大浪。

你這受困苦、被暴風捲走、不得憐憫的城，看哪，我必以灰泥來做你的石頭，以藍寶石立你的根基，
