He replied,“ You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.The men were amazed and asked,“ What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!” (niv)

The disciples went and woke him, saying,“ Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm.“ Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another,“ Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.” (niv)

People were overwhelmed with amazement.“ He has done everything well,” they said.“ He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.” (niv)

“ Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied,“ tell me to come to you on the water.”“ Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out,“ Lord, save me!”Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.“ You of little faith,” he said,“ why did you doubt?”And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. (niv)

He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying,“ We have never seen anything like this!” (niv)

The people were all so amazed that they asked each other,“ What is this? A new teaching— and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.” (niv)

Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around( she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished. (niv)

So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. (niv)

They were terrified and asked each other,“ Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” (niv)

The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is mighty. (niv)

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. (niv)
