So Jesus told all the people to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves, thanked God for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to his disciples, who distributed the bread to the crowd.

The servants who are ready and waiting for his return will be rewarded. I tell you the truth, he himself will seat them, put on an apron, and serve them as they sit and eat!

Hurry and catch him before he goes up there to eat. The guests won’t begin eating until he arrives to bless the food.”

For there were about 5,000 men there. Jesus replied,“ Tell them to sit down in groups of about fifty each.”So the people all sat down.

“ Bring them here,” he said.Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave the bread to the disciples, who distributed it to the people.

“ Tell everyone to sit down,” Jesus said. So they all sat down on the grassy slopes.( The men alone numbered about 5,000.)Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks to God, and distributed them to the people. Afterward he did the same with the fish. And they all ate as much as they wanted.

But his mother told the servants,“ Do whatever he tells you.”

So Jesus told all the people to sit down on the ground.Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, thanked God for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to the disciples, who distributed the food to the crowd.

As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying,“ Take this and eat it, for this is my body.”

Then Jesus told the disciples to have the people sit down in groups on the green grass.So they sat down in groups of fifty or a hundred.Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people. He also divided the fish for everyone to share.They all ate as much as they wanted,and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftover bread and fish.A total of 5,000 men and their families were fed.

If I can thank God for the food and enjoy it, why should I be condemned for eating it?So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Several boats from Tiberias landed near the place where the Lord had blessed the bread and the people had eaten.

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

As they sat down to eat, he took the bread and blessed it. Then he broke it and gave it to them.

They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanks by faithful people who know the truth.Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks.For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer.
