耶穌看見眾人都跑上來，就斥責那污靈說：「你這聾啞的靈，我命令你從他裏頭出來，再不要進去！」

耶穌趕出一個使人成為啞巴的鬼，鬼出去了，啞巴就說出話來；眾人都很驚訝。

有人帶着小孩子來見耶穌，要他摸他們，門徒就責備那些人。

這婦人是希臘人，屬敘利亞的腓尼基族。她求耶穌從她女兒身上趕出那鬼。

當時，有人把一個被鬼附，又盲又啞的人帶到耶穌那裏，耶穌醫治他，那啞巴就能說話，又能看見。

說：「主啊，可憐我的兒子。他害癲癇病很苦，屢次跌進火裏，屢次跌進水裏。

他聽見耶穌從猶太到了加利利，就來見他，求他下去醫治他的兒子，因為他兒子快要死了。

再三求他，說：「我的小女兒快要死了，求你去為她按手，使她痊癒，可以活下去。」

其中有一人喊着說：「老師！求你看看我的兒子，因為他是我的獨子。
