“ We promise to bring the first part of every harvest to the Lord’s Temple year after year— whether it be a crop from the soil or from our fruit trees.

我祭司、利未人、及民眾掣籤、每年何族於何時獻柴至我天主殿中、以燔於主我天主之祭臺上、循律法所載者、

“ We also assume responsibility for bringing to the house of the Lord each year the firstfruits of our crops and of every fruit tree.

“ We will also be accountable for bringing the first share of our crops each year. And we’ll bring the first share of every fruit tree. We’ll bring them to the Lord’ s house.

And we made ordinances to bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, to the house of the Lord;

and to bring the first- fruits of our ground, and the first- fruits of all fruit of all manner of trees, year by year, unto the house of Jehovah;

We will bring the firstfruits of our land and of every fruit tree to the Lord’s house year by year.

The king also made a personal contribution of animals for the daily morning and evening burnt offerings, the weekly Sabbath festivals, the monthly new moon festivals, and the annual festivals as prescribed in the Law of the Lord.In addition, he required the people in Jerusalem to bring a portion of their goods to the priests and Levites, so they could devote themselves fully to the Law of the Lord.When the people of Israel heard these requirements, they responded generously by bringing the first share of their grain, new wine, olive oil, honey, and all the produce of their fields. The Lord has blessed his people, and all this is left over.”

“ Bring your relatives of the tribe of Levi— your ancestral tribe— to assist you and your sons as you perform the sacred duties in front of the Tabernacle of the Covenant.

“ Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me!“ But you ask,‘ What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you?’“ You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me.You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me.Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,“ I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.“ Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.
