At that time men were appointed to be in charge of the storerooms for the contributions, firstfruits and tithes. From the fields around the towns they were to bring into the storerooms the portions required by the Law for the priests and the Levites, for Judah was pleased with the ministering priests and Levites.

At that time some men were put in charge of the storerooms. That’s where all the gifts the people brought were placed. Those gifts included the first shares of their crops. They also included a tenth of everything the Law required. Crops were harvested from the fields around the towns. The people had to bring the shares of those crops that were required by the Law. They gave them to the priests and Levites. That’s because the people of Judah were pleased with the priests and Levites who were serving God.

On that day men were appointed over the storerooms, the contributions, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them the portions required by the Law for the priests and for the Levites according to the fields of the towns, for Judah rejoiced over the priests and the Levites who ministered.

希西家吩咐在耶和華殿裏預備倉房，他們就預備了。他們誠心將供物和十分取一之物，並分別為聖之物，都搬入倉內。利未人歌楠雅掌管這事，他兄弟示每為副管。耶歇、亞撒細雅、拿哈、亞撒黑、耶利末、約撒拔、以列、伊斯瑪基雅、瑪哈、比拿雅都是督理，在歌楠雅和他兄弟示每的手下，是希西家王和管理神殿的亞撒利雅所派的。

並將初熟之麥子所磨的麵和舉祭、各樣樹上初熟的果子、新酒與油奉給祭司，收在我們神殿的庫房裏，把我們地上所產的十分之一奉給利未人，因利未人在我們一切城邑的土產中當取十分之一。利未人取十分之一的時候，亞倫的子孫中，當有一個祭司與利未人同在。利未人也當從十分之一中取十分之一，奉到我們神殿的屋子裏，收在庫房中。以色列人和利未人要將五穀、新酒，和油為舉祭，奉到收存聖所器皿的屋子裏，就是供職的祭司、守門的、歌唱的所住的屋子。這樣，我們就不離棄我們神的殿。

聽從我、日日在我門口仰望、在我門框旁邊等候的，那人便為有福。

革順族、拉但子孫裏，作族長的是革順族拉但的子孫耶希伊利。耶希伊利的兒子西坦和他兄弟約珥掌管耶和華殿裏的府庫。暗蘭族、以斯哈族、希伯倫族、烏泄族也有職分。摩西的孫子、革舜的兒子細布業掌管府庫。還有他的弟兄以利以謝。以利以謝的兒子是利哈比雅；利哈比雅的兒子是耶篩亞；耶篩亞的兒子是約蘭；約蘭的兒子是細基利；細基利的兒子是示羅密。這示羅密和他的弟兄掌管府庫的聖物，就是大衛王和眾族長、千夫長、百夫長，並軍長所分別為聖的物。

「利未人是這樣：從二十五歲以外，他們要前來任職，辦會幕的事。到了五十歲要停工退任，不再辦事，

這四個門領都是利未人，各有緊要的職任，看守神殿的倉庫。

當時，在那裏所有的祭司都已自潔，並不分班供職。他們出聖所的時候，歌唱的利未人亞薩、希幔、耶杜頓，和他們的眾子眾弟兄都穿細麻布衣服，站在壇的東邊，敲鈸、鼓瑟、彈琴，同着他們有一百二十個祭司吹號。

先是蒙派管理我們神殿中庫房的祭司以利亞實與多比雅結親，便為他預備一間大屋子，就是從前收存素祭、乳香、器皿，和照命令供給利未人、歌唱的、守門的五穀、新酒，和油的十分之一，並歸祭司舉祭的屋子。

你要囑咐亞倫和他的兒子謹守自己祭司的職任。近前來的外人必被治死。」

或作執事，就當專一執事；或作教導的，就當專一教導；

但那等候耶和華的必重新得力。他們必如鷹展翅上騰；他們奔跑卻不困倦，行走卻不疲乏。

每日早晚向耶和華獻燔祭，燒美香，又在精金的桌子上擺陳設餅；又有金燈臺和燈盞，每晚點起，因為我們遵守耶和華－我們神的命；惟有你們離棄了他。率領我們的是神，我們這裏也有神的祭司拿號向你們吹出大聲。以色列人哪，不要與耶和華－你們列祖的神爭戰，因你們必不能亨通。」

他們的職任是服事亞倫的子孫，在耶和華的殿和院子，並屋中辦事，潔淨一切聖物，就是辦神殿的事務，
