从前你们列祖岂不是这样行，以致我们神使一切灾祸临到我们和这城吗？现在你们还犯安息日，使忿怒越发临到以色列！”

从前你们的列祖不是这样行，以致我们的神使这一切灾祸临到我们和这城吗？现在你们亵渎安息日，使神的忿怒越发临到以色列。”

你們的祖先難道不是犯了這樣的罪，以致我們的上帝使一切災禍臨到我們和這城嗎？如今你們干犯安息日，使上帝的憤怒更多地臨到以色列。」

從前你們的列祖不是這樣行，以致我們的神使這一切災禍臨到我們和這城嗎？現在你們褻瀆安息日，使神的忿怒越發臨到以色列。”

從前你們列祖豈不是這樣行，以致我們的上帝使這一切災禍臨到我們和這城麼？現在你們還瀆犯着安息日、使上帝的烈怒越發臨到以色列啊！』

昔爾列祖、豈非行是、致我上帝降諸災於我儕、及斯邑乎、爾今又犯安息、使怒及於以色列、尤有甚焉、

昔我列祖行是、上帝降災、罰及我身、殲滅斯邑、爾又犯之、貽禍於以色列族、尤有甚焉。

昔列祖亦如斯行、我天主以此諸災、降於我儕及此城、今爾犯安息日、使以色列人干主怒尤甚、

Didn’t your ancestors do the same things, so that our God brought all this calamity on us and on this city? Now you are stirring up more wrath against Israel by desecrating the Sabbath.”

Your people of long ago did the very same things. That’s why our God has brought all this trouble on us. That’s why he’s making this city suffer so much. Now you are making him even angrier against Israel. You are misusing the Sabbath day.”

Did not your fathers act in this way, and did not our God bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Now you are bringing more wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”

“ Wasn’t it just this sort of thing that your ancestors did that caused our God to bring all this trouble upon us and our city? Now you are bringing even more wrath upon Israel by permitting the Sabbath to be desecrated in this way!”

Didn’t your ancestors do the same, so that our God brought all this disaster on us and on this city? And now you are rekindling his anger against Israel by profaning the Sabbath!”

Did your fathers not do the same, so that our God brought on us and on this city all this trouble? Yet you are adding to the wrath against Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”

Did not your fathers do thus, and did not our God bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Yet you bring added wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”

Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.

Didn’t your ancestors do the same, so that our God brought all this disaster on us and on this city? And now you are rekindling His anger against Israel by profaning the Sabbath!”

Isn’t this the way your ancestors acted, causing our God to bring on them and on this city all this misfortune? And now you are causing even more wrath on Israel, profaning the Sabbath like this!”

Didn’t your fathers do this, and didn’t our God bring all this evil on us, and on this city? Yet you bring more wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”

耶和華如此說：你們要謹慎，不可在安息日挑甚麼擔子進入耶路撒冷的城門，也不可在安息日從家中挑擔子出去。無論何工都不可做，只要以安息日為聖日，正如我所吩咐你們祖先的。』他們卻不聽從，也不側耳而聽，竟硬着頸項不聽，不肯領受訓誨。

我們因自己的惡行和大罪，遭遇這一切的事，但你－我們的神懲罰我們輕於我們罪所當得的，又為我們留下這些殘存之民。我們豈可再違背你的誡命，與行這些可憎之事的民族結親呢？若我們這樣行，你豈不向我們發怒，將我們滅絕，以致沒有一個餘民或殘存之民嗎？耶和華－以色列的神啊，你是公義的，我們才能剩下這些殘存之民，正如今日的景況。看哪，我們在你面前有罪惡，因此無人能在你面前站立得住。」

如果這樣，你們還不聽從我，我就要因你們的罪，加重七倍懲罰你們。

他們必剝去你的衣服，奪取你美麗的寶物。

從前我們在毗珥犯的罪孽，導致瘟疫臨到耶和華的會眾，甚至到今日都還沒有洗淨，這還算小事嗎？你們今日竟然離棄耶和華不跟從他！你們今日既然悖逆耶和華，明日他必向以色列全會眾發怒。

你們祖先的惡行，猶大諸王和后妃的惡行，你們自己和你們妻子的惡行，就是在猶大地和耶路撒冷街市上所做的，你們都忘了嗎？

她從埃及的時候，就沒有離開過淫亂；因為她年輕時，有人與她同寢，撫弄她少女的乳房，和她縱慾行淫。

我就要向你們發烈怒，行事與你們作對，因你們的罪，加重七倍懲罰你們。

不要效法你們的祖先。從前的先知呼叫他們說：『萬軍之耶和華如此說，當回轉離開你們的惡道惡行。』他們卻不聽，也不順從我。這是耶和華說的。你們的祖先在哪裏呢？那些先知能永遠存活嗎？然而我的言語和律例，就是我所吩咐我僕人眾先知的，豈不臨到你們的祖先嗎？他們就回轉，說：萬軍之耶和華定意按我們的所作所為對待我們，他也已經照樣行了。」

看哪，你們這一夥罪人，竟然接續你們父執之輩，再增加耶和華對以色列所發的怒氣。

你們若不聽從我，不以安息日為聖日，仍在安息日挑擔子進入耶路撒冷的各城門，我必在城門中點火；這火必燒燬耶路撒冷的宮殿，不會熄滅。」

耶和華因你們所行的惡、所做可憎的事，不能再容忍，所以使你們的地荒涼，受驚駭詛咒，無人居住，正如今日一樣。
