是時、王后坐於側、王問我曰、往返幾何時、王喜遣我、我乃定厥期、

斯時王后坐於王側、王問我曰、爾往幾日、何時將返、我乃定其期、王遂樂意遣我、

Then the king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked me,“ How long will your journey take, and when will you get back?” It pleased the king to send me; so I set a time.

And the king said to me( the queen sitting beside him),“ How long will you be gone, and when will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me when I had given him a time.

The king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked,“ How long will you be gone? When will you return?” After I told him how long I would be gone, the king agreed to my request.

The king, with the queen seated beside him, asked me,“ How long will your journey take, and when will you return?” So I gave him a definite time, and it pleased the king to send me.

Then the king said to me, with the queen sitting beside him,“ How long will your journey be, and when will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me, and I gave him a definite time.

Then the king said to me( the queen also sitting beside him),“ How long will your journey be? And when will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.

And the king said unto me( the queen also sitting by him), For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.

The king, with the queen seated beside him, asked me,“ How long will your journey take, and when will you return?” So I gave him a definite time, and it pleased the king to send me.

Then the king, with his consort sitting beside him, replied,“ How long would your trip take, and when would you return?” Since the king was amenable to dispatching me, I gave him a time.

The king said to me( the queen was also sitting by him),“ How long will your journey be? When will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me, and I set a time for him.

But while all this was going on, I was not in Jerusalem, for in the thirty-second year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon I had returned to the king. Some time later I asked his permission (niv)

Moreover, from the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, until his thirty-second year— twelve years— neither I nor my brothers ate the food allotted to the governor. (niv)

The king said to me,“ What is it you want?” Then I prayed to the God of heaven, (niv)

Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. (niv)

They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. (niv)

Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.” I was cupbearer to the king. (niv)

Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. (niv)
