我簡閱之、起而告顯者民長、及餘民曰、勿懼之、其念大而可畏之主、為爾兄弟子女、妻室第宅而戰、

我簡閱之、遂告世職、諸伯、及餘民、曰、主至大可畏、爾當念之、毋恐懼、實為爾妻孥兄弟家室、而有是役、

我察閱之、遂起告顯者、民長、及餘民曰、勿懼之、當念至大可畏之主、當為爾兄弟、子女、與妻、及家屬而戰、

After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

I looked things over. Then I stood up and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people. I said,“ Don’t be afraid of your enemies. Remember the Lord. He is great and powerful. So fight for your families. Fight for your sons and daughters. Fight for your wives and homes.”

And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people,“ Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”

Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the nobles and the rest of the people and said to them,“ Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!”

After I made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awe-inspiring Lord, and fight for your countrymen, your sons and daughters, your wives and homes.”

When I saw their fear, I stood and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people:“ Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people,“ Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, who is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.

After I made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awe-inspiring Lord, and fight for your countrymen, your sons and daughters, your wives and homes.”

And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord,[ which is] great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.

When I had made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awesome Lord, and fight on behalf of your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your families!”

I looked, and rose up, and said to the nobles, to the rulers, and to the rest of the people,“ Don’t be afraid of them! Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them.” (niv)

Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight.” (niv)

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. “ Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. (niv)

He shall say:“ Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them.For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” (niv)

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (niv)

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. (niv)

“ I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass,that you forget the Lord your Maker, who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor? (niv)

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. (niv)

You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas, (niv)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (niv)

Out of the north he comes in golden splendor; God comes in awesome majesty. (niv)

He said:“ Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you:‘ Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel.You will not have to fight this battle. Like a horse in open country, they did not stumble; (niv)

Say to God,“ How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. (niv)

The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on his foes and vents his wrath against his enemies.The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.He rebukes the sea and dries it up; he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither and the blossoms of Lebanon fade.The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it.Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him.The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him, (niv)

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. (niv)

Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you!As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before you!For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you. (niv)

Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind! (niv)

Then I thought,“ To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand.I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God?You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.The waters saw you, God, the waters saw you and writhed; the very depths were convulsed.The clouds poured down water, the heavens resounded with thunder; your arrows flashed back and forth.Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked.Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron. (niv)

I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done. (niv)

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,for our“ God is a consuming fire.” (niv)

See, the Lord your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (niv)

because they could not bear what was commanded:“ If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.”The sight was so terrifying that Moses said,“ I am trembling with fear.” (niv)

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? (niv)
