他对他的弟兄和撒玛利亚的军兵说：“这些软弱的犹太人做什么呢？要为自己重建吗？要献祭吗？要一日完工吗？要使土堆里火烧过的石头再有用吗？”

当着他的同僚和撒玛利亚军兵的面说：“这群弱小的犹太人在做什么呢？要重建城墙吗？要献祭吗？要在一日之间建好吗？要用废墟中烧过的石头来建造吗？”

在他的兄弟和撒玛利亚的军队面前，说：“这些软弱的犹大人在作什么呢？想自己修筑城墙吗？想要献祭吗？想要在一天之内完成吗？想要使废土堆中被火烧过的石头复活吗？”

對他弟兄和撒馬利亞的軍兵說：「這些軟弱的猶大人做甚麼呢？要保護自己嗎？要獻祭嗎？要一日成功嗎？要從土堆裏拿出火燒的石頭再立牆嗎？」

在他的兄弟和撒瑪利亞的軍隊面前，說：“這些軟弱的猶大人在作甚麼呢？想自己修築城牆嗎？想要獻祭嗎？想要在一天之內完成嗎？想要使廢土堆中被火燒過的石頭復活嗎？”

他在他的族弟兄和撒瑪利亞的軍兵面前說：『嘿！這些衰弱憔悴的猶大人要作甚麼？他們要奮不顧身麼？要宰獻祭牲動工麼？要在一天之內就作完麼？他們要從塵土廢堆中拿火燒過的石頭把它重新建造起來麼？』

告其同宗、及撒瑪利亞軍旅曰、此荏弱之猶大人何為、豈欲自衛乎、豈欲獻祭乎、豈能一日成之乎、豈於瓦礫之場、復起被焚之石乎、

告其同宗及撒馬利亞軍旅、曰、此荏弱之猶大人何為、斯邑既燬、盡成瓦礫、彼乃欲復興工作、立竣厥工乎。吾儕豈容其建城獻祭哉。

謂其同族及撒瑪利亞軍旅曰、此荏弱之猶大人何為、國家豈容其建城乎、豈能復獻祭乎、豈能一日成功乎、豈能自土壘中出已燬之石、復立為垣乎、

and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said,“ What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble— burned as they are?”

He spoke to his friends and the army of Samaria. He said,“ What are those Jews trying to do? Can they make their city wall like new again? Will they offer sacrifices? Can they finish everything in a single day? The stones from their city wall and buildings are piled up like trash. And everything has been badly burned. Can they use those stones to rebuild everything again?”

And he said in the presence of his brothers and of the army of Samaria,“ What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they restore it for themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, and burned ones at that?”

saying in front of his friends and the Samarian army officers,“ What does this bunch of poor, feeble Jews think they’re doing? Do they think they can build the wall in a single day by just offering a few sacrifices? Do they actually think they can make something of stones from a rubbish heap— and charred ones at that?”

before his colleagues and the powerful men of Samaria and said,“ What are these pathetic Jews doing? Can they restore it by themselves? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they ever finish it? Can they bring these burnt stones back to life from the mounds of rubble?”

And he spoke in the presence of his brothers and the wealthy people of Samaria and said,“ What are these feeble Jews doing? Are they going to restore the temple for themselves? Can they offer sacrifices? Can they finish it in a day? Can they revive the stones from the heaps of rubble, even the burned ones?”

And he spoke before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said,“ What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they complete it in a day? Will they revive the stones from the heaps of rubbish— stones that are burned?”

And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What are these feeble Jews doing? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, seeing they are burned?

before his colleagues and the powerful men of Samaria, and said,“ What are these pathetic Jews doing? Can they restore it by themselves? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they ever finish it? Can they bring these burnt stones back to life from the mounds of rubble?”

and in the presence of his colleagues and the army of Samaria he said,“ What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they be left to themselves? Will they again offer sacrifice? Will they finish this in a day? Can they bring these burnt stones to life again from piles of dust?”

He spoke before his brothers and the army of Samaria, and said,“ What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they finish in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, since they are burned?”

（那时，利宏省长、伸帅书记和他们其余的同僚，法官、官员、军官、波斯官员、亚基卫人、巴比伦人，和书珊迦人，就是以拦人，以及被亚斯那巴大人迁移、安置在撒玛利亚城和大河西边一带地方其余的人。现在，

但是，神拣选了世上愚拙的，为了使有智慧的羞愧；又拣选了世上软弱的，为了使强壮的羞愧。

但犹大有话说：“扛抬的人力气衰弱，瓦砾太多，我们自己不可能建造城墙。”

耶和华啊，我听见你的名声；耶和华啊，我惧怕你的作为。求你在这些年间复兴你的作为，在这些年间将它显明出来；在发怒的时候以怜悯为念。

为耶路撒冷城墙行奉献礼的时候，众人把各处的利未人召到耶路撒冷，要以称谢、歌唱、敲钹、鼓瑟、弹琴，喜乐地行奉献礼。

那日，众人献上丰盛的祭物，并且欢乐，因为神使他们大大欢乐，连妇女带孩童也都欢乐，甚至从远处都可听到耶路撒冷的欢声。

他对我说：“人子啊，这些骸骨能活过来吗？”我说：“主耶和华啊，你是知道的。”他又对我说：“你要向这些骸骨说预言，对它们说：枯干的骸骨啊，要听耶和华的话。主耶和华对这些骸骨如此说：‘看哪，我必使气息进入你们里面，你们就要活过来。我要给你们加上筋，长出肉，又给你们包上皮，使气息进入你们里面，你们就要活过来；你们就知道我是耶和华。’”于是，我遵命说预言。正说预言的时候，有响声，看哪，有地震；骨与骨彼此接连。我观看，看哪，骸骨上面有筋，长了肉，又包上皮，只是里面还没有气息。耶和华对我说：“人子啊，你要说预言，向风说预言。你要说，耶和华如此说：气息啊，要从四方而来，吹在这些被杀的人身上，使他们活过来。”于是我遵命说预言，气息就进入骸骨，骸骨就活过来，并且用脚站起来，成为极大的军队。他对我说：“人子啊，这些骸骨就是以色列全家。他们说：‘看哪，我们的骨头枯干了，我们的指望失去了，我们灭绝净尽了！’所以你要说预言，对他们说，主耶和华如此说：我的子民，看哪，我要打开你们的坟墓，把你们带出坟墓，领你们进入以色列地。我的子民哪，我打开你们的坟墓，把你们带出坟墓时，你们就知道我是耶和华。

二人就让非利士的驻军看见。非利士人说：“看哪，希伯来人从躲藏的洞穴里出来了！”站岗的士兵对约拿单和拿兵器的人说：“上到这里来，我们有一件事要告诉你们。”约拿单就对拿兵器的人说：“跟我上去，因为耶和华把他们交在以色列人手里了。”

那日，耶和华必保护耶路撒冷的居民。他们中间软弱的在那日必如大卫；大卫家必如神，如行在他们前面的耶和华的使者。

非利士人对大卫说：“你拿着杖到我这里来，我岂是狗吗？”非利士人就指着自己的神明诅咒大卫。非利士人又对大卫说：“来吧！我要把你的肉给空中的飞鸟和田野的走兽。”
