不但這樣，因我愛慕我神的殿，就在我為建造聖殿預備的一切以外，又把我自己積蓄的金銀獻給我神的殿：

感謝神，他把我對你們那樣的熱情，放在提多的心裡。提多一方面接受了勸勉，但他自己更加熱心，自願到你們那裡去。

我的神啊，我知道你察驗人心，喜悅正直；至於我，我以正直的心甘願奉獻這一切；現在我也非常歡喜看見你在這裡的人民，都甘願奉獻給你。耶和華我們列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神啊，求你永遠保守這一件事，就是使你的子民常存這心思意念，堅定他們的心歸向你。

在你征戰的日子，你的人民都樂意投身；你的少年人以聖潔為裝飾，好像清晨的甘露，到你那裡。

在一切善事上成全你們，好使你們遵行他的旨意；又藉著耶穌基督在我們裡面，行他所喜悅的事。願榮耀歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們。

以祿月二十五日，城牆建成，整個工程共用了五十二天。

因為事情很快辦完，希西家和全體人民因神為他的子民所預備的，都甚歡樂。
